[MALAYSIA] TWICE members express their love for Malaysian ONCEs at Press Conference

TWICE held a press conference in Kuala Lumpur on Friday ahead of their first ever concert in Malaysia, TWICELAND ZONE 2: Fantasy Park, emerging from behind the stage immaculately poised and ready for the quick flurry of questions aimed at them in the short span of the event.

Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung, Sana, Momo, Mina, Dahyun, Jihyo and Tzuyu posed for a quick photo session before getting down to business.

When asked about their first impressions of Malaysia, Tzuyu answered that they were overwhelmed by the amazing welcome they received from fans at the airport upon their arrival –  and that they cannot wait to try the food!

Nayeon added that she was amazed at the passion of ONCEs here and that they could not wait to see them at the concert that coming Saturday.

Asked about what local fans could expect to see at the concert, Dahyun answered that the opening act would be very pretty and that there would be unique stages as well. Jihyo mentioned that there were contributions made by members towards their sub-unit stages, and hoped that Malaysian ONCEs would love them.

Chaeyoung and Sana answered a question about the experience of being onstage in front of all their fans, saying that they receive a lot of amazing energy from their fans. Dahyun goes further to say that they have received gifts of fan-made videos which they have played onstage, and get encouragement from fans in the stadiums who urge them not to cry or be sad.

Tzuyu hopes that, after having passed their 1000th day mark, that TWICE can pass their 2000th and 3000th day with their fans, and continue to improve and interact with them.

Asked where they saw themselves in the next ten years, Jeongyeon and Jihyo said that they would like to be at a place where they could return to Malaysia again and again – let us hope for this to come true!
