[MALAYSIA] Six Stars Shine At Watsons KFINITY Music Festival

Malaysian K-pop fans started the month of November on a good note as Watson KFINITY Music Festival presented by Dream Factory Entertainment (DFE) took place at IOI Mall Damansara’s Exhibition & Convention Centre on November 1, 2025! The festival, which positioned itself as a celebration of culture, community, and lifestyle, featured THAMA, SOLE, JU-NE (iKON), TAEYANG, YUJU and MINZY as the performers of the electrifying night filled with groovy tunes, fan service and good times all around.

THAMA kicked off the festival as he performed his tracks like Blessed, Ooh Ooh, and I Feel Love. His soulful voice captivated the fans and definitely made a good impression considering this was his first time performing in Malaysia.

His set was particularly special as he performed Be Mine, his unreleased track (at that time) and made an effort to introduce the song in Malay language. He also personally made an effort to sign his albums that were brought by the fans in between his set.

SOLE was up next, as her sultry voice and groovy tunes commanded the fans’ attention. She performed an impressive setlist of 13 tracks which included 1 Minute, Shy Girl, Ore Ore, and RIDE. She greeted the fans in Malay language much to the delight of the fans, as she mentioned that this was her very first time performing in Malaysia, and she wanted the fans to have a fun night.

Her stage presence was felt throughout her set as she went back and forth from the main stage to the middle stage to interact with the fans. To top it all off, she even went down during Stay With Me to interact with the fans, and even signed her albums that were brought by the fans.

The next performer was JU-NE from iKON. The energy in the arena was buzzing as he opened his set with rock-infused tracks of Feel Lost, So Cold, and Want You Back. This was his first return since 2023 and his first time performing as a soloist for a while, and he hoped the fans enjoyed the night with him.

The mere mention of iKON during JU-NE’s ment in between his set caused the venue to explode with cheers from the fans, and he made sure to repay the love by the fans. He performed a medley of his personal favourite iKON tracks M.U.P and Jerk, and closed out his set on a high with iKON fan favourite tracks of Love Scenario and Rhythm Ta, turning the venue into a mini iKON concert.

The deafening cheers by the fans was evident as the legendary TAEYANG appeared on the stage as the next performer. His irresistible charisma and fluid dance moves were on display from the get go as he performed his tracks like 1AM, Vibe, and I Need A Girl. He also sang his iconic ballad tracks Empty Road and Eyes Nose Lips, where the fans sang along to every word of the song.

A heartwarming moment happened during his set as he sang Happy Birthday to one of the fans who had their birthday on that day. He mentioned that he is currently working on new music and thanked the fans for the love and support. As he ended his ment with “Sayang korang” (love you all), he closed his set with SEED, closing his set with his powerful vocals.

Following up the high energy was YUJU as the next performer. Her pure vocals mesmerized the fans in attendance as she opened her set with Spring Is Gone By Chance, her OST from The Girl Who Sees Scents drama, before continuing with Reply and Orion from her latest mini album.

YUJU’s set felt like a nice break in between the powerful performances from the artists before her. She even sang a snippet of Without You as requested by the fans, and she delivered them with ease. Her short and sweet set ended with No Matter and DALALA, ending her set on a high and seemingly hyping the fans for the last performer.

The last artist of the night was none other than MINZY, whose set was full of energy from start to finish. She kicked off her set with high gear with NiNaNo, TEAMO and Superwoman, before taking us down memory lane with a 2NE1 medley of I Don’t Care, I Am The Best and Go Away.

Her powerful stage presence and sharp moves, combined with the fans having the time of their lives during the 2NE1 medley capped off a wonderful night of electrifying performances from all the artists who were featured in this festival.

The Watsons KFINITY Music Festival was a resounding success, connecting the fans with legendary K-Pop icons and rising stars. We hope that this festival will continue next year with a fresh lineup of artists in line with the theme of connecting fans with legends and rising stars.
