[MALAYSIA] PARK EUN BIN Lights Up Her Fans’ Hearts During Her Fan Meeting in Kuala Lumpur

Park Eun Bin celebrated Christmas Eve with her Malaysian Bingos when she came to wrap up her Asia Fan Meeting tour, EUN BIN NOTE: BINKAN in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, December 24, 2022. Read on as we recap what went on during the fan meeting!

Eun Bin Filled Up The Empty Space In Her Fans Hearts With Her Shining Light

The fan meeting started at 8PM local time, where she greeted the audience with her enthusiastic performance of Annyeong (Hello), a song originally released by singer Park Hye-Kung and now has been remade by Red Velvet’s Joy. During her performance, a VCR was screened portraying the word Hello in multiple languages. The artist was greeted by the screams and applause of her fans marking the start of her fan meet.


When asked about the meaning of the title for her fan meet, Eun Bin explained that ‘Bin’ means ‘Shining Light’ and ‘Kan’ means ‘Empty Space’ and she hopes she will be able to fill the empty space with her shining light! The event continued with the next section being Today’s Profile where the fans had the opportunity to ask the actress questions. She shared that Malaysia was not originally part of the plan but because of the love and support she has received from her Malaysian fans, she added a show in Kuala Lumpur and made it the last stop of her tour.

Eun Bin also asked the fans to share with her what are some of the reasons they supported and loved her. The common answers are about how versatile she is as an actress. She has shown iin her work that no two characters are the same. She shared one thing she likes about acting is that she is able to play characters that are different to her personality, making it a way for her to challenge herself and experience new things.

Eun Bin Checks Her Compatibility With Her Fans

One of the most anticipated events was the Eun Bin You May Not Know where the actress shared information about herself! This section is something Eun Bin loves the most because it is the time where the fans get to know more about her. She used this time to also play the Balance Game with her fans where they were given a set of statements and they would have to guess which of the two statements best resonates with the actress. By the end of the game, three lucky fans won a Binkan tote bag with designs drawn by the actress herself!

“Apa Khabar Semua!”

Her fans were caught by surprise when Park Eun Bin spoke a few Malay phrases during her fan meet. During her fan meet, one of the questions that were asked by her fans was how she learned the different languages, and to that she answered, “I learn when I am on the plane”. It was shared that before the event, the actress was learning Malay phrases she can use to talk with the fans during the fan meet. 

Walking Down Memory Lane

Before her performance of The Blue Night of Jeju Island, she shared a VCR with the audience where she interviewed her past characters in her previous work. The characters included Chae Song Ah from Do You Like Brahms, Lee Hwi from The King’s Affection, Lee Se Young from Hot Stove League, and Song Ji Won from Hello, My Twenties. The fans then voted on what are their top three favourite scenes and lines from her past work. She also shared her experience when playing these characters. Eun Bin shared that when she was playing the role of Song Ji Won from Hello, My Twenties, it was one of the happiest moments for her. She mentioned that Song Ji Won’s character was a funny person therefore she enjoyed playing her.

When it came to Woo Young Woo from Extraordinary Attorney Woo, she shared that if there is one thing the audience will take from Woo Young Woo’s character is her never giving up spirit. She explained that during the scene where Woo Young Woo had to go through the rotating door, it was one of the biggest challenges that the character had to face. However, she still made it through. Eun Bin shared that playing Young Woo was truly an experience she did not take for granted.

Park Eun Bin Felt Touched By The Fans

Aside from the surprises made by the actress, the fans also had a few surprises up their sleeve. During her performance of The Blue Night in Jeju Island, an OST sung by her for her hit show Extraordinary Attorney Woo, the Malaysian Bingos lit up the venue with blue lights which caught the actress by surprise. She shared that she did not expect the blue wave created by the fans. Towards the end of her fan meeting, the fans played a video which showcased messages from her fans across the world. Once the video was over, she turned around to the crowd to see the venue being filled with her fans holding up a slogan that says ‘Instead of Sunlight, Starlight and Moonlight, it’s Eunbin’s light that shines brightly on our Bin Kan’. 

After the two fan projects, the actress shared her thoughts about how touched she felt by the fans’ efforts. Park Eun Bin felt truly loved and supported throughout the event and she said she is looking forward to coming again! She ended her fan meet with a special performance of Glittery, a song by Kacey Musgraves and Troye Sivan and her rendition of We Wish You A Merry Christmas. All of her fans were also given the opportunity to join a Hi Bye session with the actress where they got to meet her up close before bidding their goodbyes.

Overall, the Eun Bin Note: Binkan fan meeting in Kuala Lumpur was truly a magical experience. The enthusiasm of the actress and the screams by the fans made the fan meeting one to remember.
