South Korean girl group NMIXX made their first ever appearance in Malaysia as part of the K-Wave Super Concert held at Idea Live Arena during Malaysian Independence Day on August 31, 2025!
The concert lineup featured talents such as songstress Aisha Retno, vocalist Jang Han Byul and Malaysia’s own girl group extraordinaire DOLLA, but perhaps the most anticipated lineup was NMIXX, where this concert will be their first official Malaysian show debut. Known for their genre-bending mixx-pop tracks, Malaysian NSWERs (fandom name) were bubbling with excitement as they anticipated the members’ appearance.

A thunderous cheer erupted as members Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin finally appeared on the stage and opened their set with Run For Roses. Their vocals were on point as NMIXX continued with DASH and Dice, the latter showcasing the signature mixx-pop genre that the group was known and loved for. Bae even ad-libbed some Malay phrases like “aku cinta kamu” (I love you) and “terima kasih” (thank you) during the Dice performance, much to the fans’ approval.
As this was NMIXX’s first time in Malaysia, they wanted to do well in their first ever appearance. They knew that Malaysian NSWERs have been waiting for a long time ever since their debut, so they did not want to disappoint the fans and went all out as NMIXX then performed Know About Me off of their latest EP, as well as See That?, turning up the energy in the arena.

As NMIXX moved on (no pun intended) to perform their track Moving On, they were pleasantly surprised to see the fans singing the Korean lyrics of their songs fluently. They then partied it up with Party O’Clock, with fans performing the signature cat-like choreography together with them. As their set finally came to an end, NMIXX took their chance to thank the fans and made sure that they will come again to Malaysia. NMIXX ended their set on a high with Love Me Like This.

NMIXX’s short and sweet stage was a night to remember as they finally made their appearance in Malaysia for the first time since their debut and certainly made big waves with their signature vocals and showmanship.
We hope to see NMIXX again in Malaysia very soon, hopefully as part of their future tours.
