[MALAYSIA] Malaysian Teumes Party with TREASURE in Kuala Lumpur

A couple of years after their amazing debut, YG Entertainment’s youngest boy group TREASURE has finally begun their international world tour! Malaysia was not an exception and made it to their treasure map. Despite being a two-year-old group, their insane energy and intense stage presence resonated with the crowd last Saturday!

Blue Ocean Decorating the Venue

Hours before the concert, Teumes gathered and waited for the concert to start in their blue and white outfits. The adorable dress code made the prettiest imitation of the bright sky on the floor of Stadium Malawati Shah Alam on March 11, brightening the venue amidst the heat of the day. This brought the fans closer as they chatted with each other until TREASURE finally made their appearance right before Teumes’ eyes!

The concert began with JIKJIN, followed by back-to-back performances of BOY and I LOVE YOU! VCR then took place as the boys went backstage for an outfit change and prepared for the next stage. TREASURE made their way back to perform GOING CRAZY, COME TO ME and B.L.T (BLING LIKE THIS)! Their massive stage presence drove Teumes to cheer for more!

Creating Memories with Malaysian Teumes

After the energetic performances, the members took the chance to introduce themselves in Malay. TREASURE’s effort touched the hearts of local Teumes present, and made their words more memorable.

Teumes were moved by the heartwarming songs of SLOWMOTION and IT’S OKAY where TREASURE expressed their affection for their fans. The comforting atmosphere from the songs was definitely a permanent core memory for Teumes. TREASURE’s sincerity was felt when they devoted the performances to their beloved fans.

Hyping Up the Party

The members then turned up the energy with their latest title track HELLO and created a party in the venue! The festival carried on with the song CLAP, a side track from the album THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER TWO. The members requested the crowd to sing along with them and even performed an impromptu acapella performance from the blue ocean of the same song. TREASURE was mesmerised by the voices of Teumes blended with one another. TREASURE went all out and performed more songs such as DARARI, ORANGE and HOLD IT IN!

Teumes also enjoyed TREASURE’S unit performances! HARUTO and ASAHI gave their all with THANK YOU! and ended their energetic stage with massive applause from fans. TREASURE’S rapline, HyunHaYo! CHOI HYUNSUK, YOSHI and HARUTO then burned the entire stage with a jaw-dropping head bop, VolKno! The new YG generation continues the entertainment company’s legacy as the house of finest rappers. The concert continued with covers of their seniors’ tracks: iKON’s RHYTHM TA as well as BIGBANG’s BANG BANG BANG. TREASURE then performed their other songs such as MMM, U and MY TREASURE.

Calls for an Encore

High off the concert, Teumes called for an encore by singing GOING CRAZY. TREASURE didn’t disappoint, coming back on stage and began the much-awaited encore! The party began with their first anniversary song, EVERYDAY, and an OST of their web drama, BFF (Best Friend Forever)! Each member then gave a short ment. The ment was cut short by the fans’ surprise celebration for JIHOON’s birthday! Wanting to deliver his gratitude correctly, JIHOON who was speaking in English throughout the concert switched to Korean to express his words of appreciation. Teumes felt his gratitude and was glad that the event was successful!

The concert came to an end with the last few performances of DARARI (Rock ver.), HELLO and the remix version of GOING CRAZY + B.L.T (BLING LIKE THIS) + ORANGE!

TREASURE is truly popular in Malaysia as the hashtag #TREASUREinKL remained trending on social media for days! We hope the boys will return  to Malaysia and perform again – perhaps with 病 (YAMAI) and BEAUTIFUL in their setlist!
