Still going strong in their 11th year as a K-pop boy group,iKON returned to Kuala Lumpur as part of the ‘iKON FOUREVER WORLD TOUR’. Currently touring with four members—JAY, BOBBY, SONG and CHAN—the group performed at Idea Live Arena on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
Known for their powerful openings, iKON never disappointed as they kicked off the night with an energetic setlist featuring AH YEAH, TANTARA, BLING BLING and SINOSIJAK.
“Everyone, please stand up and enjoy with us!” BOBBY passionately called out the fans. iKONICs immediately rose from their seats and enjoyed the night to the fullest.
During their greeting session, the members agreed that it had been a while since their last meeting with Malaysian fans. Their previous visit was three years ago during the ‘iKON WORLD TOUR TAKE OFF in Kuala Lumpur’.
“It’s nice to be back in this city. We have been missing you guys so much!” SONG said, expressing his sentimental feelings.
Solo performances then took over the stage, with CHAN serenading the audience with YOU while showcasing his beautiful piano skills. His hard work clearly paid off, as he was given the opportunity to perform an encore of the song.
Up next was JAY with ANGEL and OBEY, followed by BOBBY, who surprised fans with TROPICAL NIGHT. SONG also showed a contrasting side of himself by performing the trot songs FIGHTING and IT’S CALL.
Each member brought their own unique style and musical preferences to the stage, conquering genres ranging from ballads and jazz to hip-hop and traditional pop. Their performances proved iKON’s versatility in the industry.
The same goes for their hit songs, which have remained popular throughout the past decade. Songs such as AIRPLANE, LOVE SCENARIO, RHYTHM TA, DUMB & DUMBER and their debut song MY TYPE continue to hold a special place in fans’ hearts. Time may pass quickly, but good songs remain nostalgic, and that is what makes iKON truly memorable.
As iKON was also known for their goofy and interactive personalities, the members took some time to satisfy their curiosity by learning one of Malaysia’s Gen Z slang terms. Worry not, they will make sure to add “Leklu”, (shortened version of “Relax dulu”, meaning “to chill first” in Malay) to their Gen Z dictionary.
The night also witnessed JAY’s humble confession that he had been going through a slump recently. However, being able to stand in front of the fans gave him tremendous energy. This difficult time will surely pass, and iKON promised to return soon with a new album and, hopefully, all the members together.
Despite the long wait and the absence of some members on each tour, seeing iKONICs continue to show up to watch them perform, have fun and, most importantly, grow older together, meant a lot to those of us attending the concert that night.

We look forward to another album and tour filled with new experiences and cherished memories, as well as the opportunity to see all the members of iKON reunite on stage once again.
