[MALAYSIA] GLUTANEX Teams Up with Song Ji Hyo for Product Launch in Kuala Lumpur

Glutanex’s Product Launch

Fans that had been waiting for Song Ji Hyo since morning filled the open space to welcome their favourite artist, or also well-known as Mongji, to make her grand appearance at the event. While waiting for it, Q&A sessions with the co-founder and resident of Luxe Clinic were being held to kill the time.

Knowing that it’s already the time for Song Ji Hyo to appear, everyone started to chant her name excitedly. The crowds went crazy when Song Ji Hyo finally appeared right in front of their eyes, dressed up in a soft blue blazer which captivated everyone with her beauty and aura. Then, together with the teams and Song Ji Hyo, they successfully launched Glutanex’s first product placement in Malaysia.

5 Years of Missing Malaysia

It feels good to have the chance to listen to Song Ji Hyo’s voice again as it’s been years since she last came to Malaysia. She introduced herself  to the crowds before the whole mall started calling out for her name. She then said “Terima kasih” (Thank you) for welcoming her with such great energy level. 

“It’s been five years since I last came to Malaysia. Thank you for welcoming me today, and many fans greeted me at the airport too yesterday. I am beyond grateful,” she said. In return, the emcee guided her to say “Saya sangat sayang awak” (I really love you guys) which heated up the crowd.

Her recent K-drama series, The Witch’s Diner, she played a witch and the owner of a restaurant that sells food. It will make people’s wishes come true in return of their soul or other things that she wishes from her customer. The crowd told her that they have been watching that drama and she was touched by it. It encouraged her to tease her fans that she would cook one popular local dish in Malaysia even though it was proven through the famous variety show, Running Man, that she cannot cook well. Although she said it jokingly, she still promised the crowds to learn and cook Nasi Lemak when she was at home.

“I am so happy that we finally have the chance to meet again after the pandemic. Please keep on being healthy and let’s grow old together. We will surely meet again in the future. Thank you so much for today!” were her last thoughts to wrap up the interview.

A Moment to Remember

Capturing every moment with the global ambassador of Glutanex, Song Ji Hyo then walked around the venue and took some photos with the Glutanex’s products. Even when she was occupied with the photography session, she still tried her best to interact with her fans, making sure they were not left out. It was proven as she agreed to take pictures together and keep on greeting everyone who came to the venue, especially those who were outside the barriers.

The event then continued with a meet and greet session with 100 lucky winners to receive all of the special benefits, especially a photo time together with Song Ji Hyo.

Most of the fans were so thrilled to be able to have a conversation together with her and some of them cried as soon as they met eye to eye with Song Ji Hyo. There was one fan girl who told her that she grew up watching Running Man. She thought that she was dreaming when she was finally seeing Song Ji Hyo after being her fan for a long time. Indeed, it was a memorable day spent with Song Ji Hyo at the Glutanex’s product launch in Kuala Lumpur.
