[MALAYSIA] DREAMCATCHER Invites INSOMNIAS To Nightmare City In Kuala Lumpur

Known for their young metal sound, K-Pop rising girl group DREAMCATCHER consists of JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon. On 6th September, it was a full house at KL Live with INSOMNIAs (DREAMCATCHER’s official fanclub name) indicating growing interest towards the group.

Malaysian INSOMNIAs were finally able to meet DREAMCATCHER after a long wait, as the girls have been busy with their Europe and South America tour.

Top-Notch Performances

The heat began to rise as DREAMCATCHER started off with “Fly High” as their opening stage. Followed by “Chase Me”, the title track from their first album, the song marked the bold and unique beginning of DREAMCATCHER’s journey in the music industry. Right after, “Sleep-Walking” continued, keeping the crowd energetic with their fan-chants.

The girls introduced themselves for the ment, where Dami said “Apa Khabar” (“How are you?”) which had the crowd cheering. They did not expect the number of fans who attended the concert, exceeding their expectations. Dami also added they were surprised with the amount of fans who were waiting for their arrival the day before.

An Overwhelming Moment

“Which A Star” and “Emotion” showed off their velvety vocals as well as the diversity of DREAMCATCHER’s music. INSOMNIAS were overwhelmed when the live performance of “Trap” was over as it is was the first time for the song to be included in an overseas concert. “Wonderland” from their third mini album continued the show, leaving INSOMNIAS pumped up with their performance.

Right after “Havana” by Camilla Cabello was played, INSOMNIAS were gasping for air as the girls showed their sexy side with their next performance. The unexpected boy group medley consists of BTS’s “Boy With Luv”, EXO’s “Love Shot”, ATEEZ’s “Hala Hala”, MONSTA X’s “Alligator”and NCT 127’s “Simon Says” had INSOMNIAS head over heels again for the girls.

DREAMCATCHER continued with their title track “WHAT”, “Good Night” which showed their signature rock sound and spectacular performance. Siyeon and SuA returned to the stage as duo with “Goodbye” by TAEMIN. JiU, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon had a girl group medley right after with TWICE’s “TT” and RED VELVET’s “Bad Boy”. Later, several lucky INSOMNIAS were randomly picked for the lucky draw segment and this included cute interactions of DREAMCATCHER with the fans – where Jiu asked if the fan with 1004 number was actually an angel.

Surreal Amount Of Fanservice

Once again, DREAMCATCHER gave their fullest energetic performances for “YOU AND I” and “PIRI” where Yoohyeon asked INSOMNIAS to stand up and enjoy the stage with them. DREAMCATCHER had the best fan-service of the night including trying to learn “Saya Cinta Kamu,” (“I love you”). The girls expressed they would like to take pictures with fans in gratitude for fans who keep on taking pictures of them.

Siyeon fulfilled an impromptu request for INSOMNIAS for her to sing an OST from Aladdin titled “Speechless”. She previously uploaded a cover of the song on their official YouTube channel. “7th July” and “Full Moon” marked the end of the concert but DREAMCATCHER returned with encore songs “Wake Up”, “Mayday” and “Over The Sky”. They had close interactions with INSOMNIAS as they took gifts from the crowd and directly interacted with members of the audience. DREAMCATCHER managed to take several pictures with the fans, as they requested for the closing.

We had so much fun with DREAMCATCHER as all of their songs are enjoyable and the girls had such irresistable charms that we could not help but fall deeper for them! We hope INSOMNIAS had a great weekend with us and DREAMCATCHER will return here with more music.
