Last weekend, the Nation’s first 2-in-1 message and e-wallet application, UChat organized Thailand’s iconic water festival, Songkran, in Malaysia for two days! UChat Songkran Day-Out Festival had us delighted the whole day with water themed activities and exhilarating performance by local and international singers! This included the trendy Korean soloist, CHUNG HA who performed for the first time in Malaysia! Despite the rain, CHUNG HA’s fans, Byulharang did not let it dampen their mood as they rushed to fill the crowd.
The line-up on that night consisted of Kuching Malaysian-born Chinese singer Priscilla Abby followed by performances from local singer Elizabeth Tan, German-Thai singer Jannine Weigel and finally CHUNG HA as the last grand performer. The powerful line-up beats the heavy rain as fans still insisted on standing still with raincoats and umbrellas underneath throughout the concert!
The crowd were elated with the silhouette of CHUNG HA appearing on the stage with her attire, consisting of a pink blouse and long pants. In consideration of Malaysia’s sensitivities, CHUNG HA personally picked her clothes, which showed how thoughtful she is! Her first perfomance started off with her recent hit track, “Gotta Go”. CHUNG HA had us melting over her sweet vocals for “Pit-A-Pat”, which is the OST for the hit drama “Strong Women Do Bong Soon”.
For the ment, CHUNG HA mentioned that this was her first performance in Malaysia and was impressed by Malaysian Byulharang’s support! She received all the hearts and even recognized a fan with her lightstick and banners. Her interaction with Byulharangs were endearing as she fulfilled their request to perform “Rollercoaster” for her next performance!
CHUNG HA lived up to her title as dancing queen with “Why Don’t You Know” and ended her stage with her own remake of “BANG BANG”, which created an everlasting impact during her Produce 101 days. Her sharp moves and high notes indeed had the crowd adrenaline-driven!
It was such an experience to be a part of CHUNG HA’s audience for the night as it felt liked her own full-scale fanmeeting with the enthusiastic crowd! We hope that she will return to Malaysia for her own solo fanmeeting and concert!
