[MALAYSIA] BANG YEDAM RECEIVES A HEARTWARMING WELCOME AT HIS FIRST FAN MEETING IN KUALA LUMPUR

Bang Yedam’s highly anticipated solo tour made its way to Malaysia, delighting fans with an electrifying performance at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on August 24, 2024. After months of waiting and eager anticipation from both parties, Yedam officially greeted his dedicated fans in Malaysia, embarking this last stop as a memorable highlight of his tour.

The evening kicked off with an exclusive short press conference, offering local media and a selected group of lucky fans as winners of a special ticket raffle to connect more intimately with Bang Yedam. Adhering to the event’s dress code, Yedam stepped onto the stage in a stylish blue shirt paired with denim pants, exuding charm as he greeted the crowd with a warm smile. The intimate session set the perfect tone for the night, allowing fans to see a more personal side of the artist.

During the session, Bang Yedam answered a wide range of questions, much to the delight of fans who were thrilled to see him comfortable and happy in Malaysia. When asked about his first impression of the country, Yedam praised his Malaysian BY:D for their politeness and warm welcome, especially noting the memorable experience of his arrival at the airport. His genuine appreciation for the fans’ kindness added a personal touch to the evening, making the event all the more special.

VOCAL IS BANG YEDAM

The night started with a solo performance of some of Yedam’s biggest hits and ballads like Miss You, Only You and Come To Me from his debut EP ‘Only One’ last year, which turned into a singing session and the crowd managed to impress the singer. In his comment, he shared that Malaysia was the best audience he had throughout his Asia tour!

Renowned for his iconic cover songs dating back to his pre-debut days, Bang Yedam thrilled fans by including many of these beloved tracks in his setlist. He captivated the audience with heartfelt renditions of Hate That I Love You, Magnetic, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, and his most legendary cover, There’s Nothing Holding Me Back. These performances evoked a sense of nostalgia, especially for long-time fans who have followed him since those early days, creating a memorable and sentimental highlight of the night.

Bang Yedam continued to light up the stage throughout the night, expressing his gratitude for the unwavering support of his fans. As the concert drew to a close, Malaysian BY:D surprised Bang Yedam with a special tribute which was a heartfelt fan video followed by the presentation of a satin sky-blue Baju Melayu (Malaysia’s traditional wear) as a token of appreciation for his visit to Malaysia. The event reached its emotional climax during the encore, where Yedam expressed his sincere gratitude to his Malaysian fans, thanking them for their unwavering support and promising to return to Southeast Asia soon.

Fueled by the crowd’s nonstop cheers and singing, Yedam’s excitement was palpable as he stepped off the stage for a second time during the encore to interact more closely with his beloved fans. Reluctant to end the night, he requested to perform one final song, showing his love and appreciation for Malaysian BY:D.


The night concluded with an unforgettable touch of personal connection, as every fan in attendance was invited on stage for a ‘hi-touch’ session with Yedam, followed by group photo opportunities.
