Remarkable performer, immaculate setlist, and energized fans, made 2024 YUGYEOM TOUR (TRUSTY) IN JAKARTA truly enjoyable. The event, which was held on November 16, 2024, at Balai Sarbini, did not only ease Indonesian Ahgases‘ (fandom name) yearning for Yugyeom, but also gave them such an unforgettable experience!
GOT7‘s wonderful maknae, main dancer, and lead vocalist, Yugyeom officially kicked off the show with When U Fall, the track from his first extended play Point of View: U. Clad in a simple denim outfit, all eyes were instantly transfixed to the talented singer. His groove continued with other catchy R&B tracks, such as Running Through The Rain and LOLO, which were supported by the crowd’s enthusiastic fan chants in the background.
During the first ment, Yugyeom took the time to express his gratitude to fans who gave their precious time and money to see him that day. He promised to give his all to the concert to make Ahgases’ sacrifices worth it. As he wandered around the stage to greet the audience in every section more closely, Yugyeom shared that he also missed Indonesian Ahgases so much. After making sure the crowd was ready for more fun, he signaled to DJ Wegun, his sidekick for the tour, to drop the next beat!
The stage ambiance slightly changed as the lights got dimmed, and Yugyeom came back with a new set of outfits. The singer performed some of the tracks from his latest album, TRUST ME, including Say Nothing, which originally was sung with Lee Hi, SHE, and Dance. The slower songs showcased Yugyeom’s famous dance skills and unbeatable chemistry with his dancers. After the session, he gave a shoutout to his dancers who made the choreography so good.
Nearing the end of the concert, a big surprise came for Yugyeom. The show fell a day before his 27th birthday, which made it a perfect moment for him to celebrate with the fans who loved him. The surprise started with a video of fans around the world congratulating him for the new age, then quickly followed by another video of Loco, a rapper and his labelmate in AOMG, also Jay B, a fellow GOT7 member, sending him their warmest greetings.
As soon as the video finished, a beautiful birthday cake was brought to the stage followed by Happy Birthday song being sung by the crowd. The birthday boy expressed he would continue to be a better singer and make Ahgases proud. He closed the birthday celebration with a cheerful “I love you! I love you more!” to the audience.
Hard Carry, originally sung by GOT7, became the last song to be performed that night. The song was perfect to wrap up the concert in a fun way.
