[INDONESIA] WINNER – Unstoppable Heart Stealers at ‘Everywhere Tour’ in Jakarta

Since their official debut in 2014, Indonesian Inner Circles have watched WINNER as they grew musically throughout their impressive journey. And finally, on November 17th 2018 at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Indonesian Inner Circles finally met the boys for the first time ever and created a night that was truly unforgettable!

Crank up the party vibes
From the get go, it was impossible to take your eyes off the four men on stage. Looking extra dapper in all sorts of white and nebula blue suits, they filled the emptiness in Indonesian Inner Circles’ hearts with their acclaimed debut song ‘EMPTY’. Yet it was obvious that the opening was just the beginning and greater performances await. They continued with ‘AIR’, ‘HELLO’, and ‘EVERYDAY’ but of course, they didn’t stop there, as they performed upbeat hits such as ‘IMMATURE’, ‘LOVE ME LOVE ME’, and ‘SPECIAL NIGHT’ as well.  Safe to say, WINNER truly knew how to party and had everyone hyped during the night.

WINNER was certainly in a good mood, interacting a lot with Indonesian Inner Circles in between songs. They learned quite a lot of Indonesian catchphrases, from  “Apa kabar?” (How are you?) and  “Mana suaranya!” (Let me hear your voice!) to the cheer inducing “Masuk Pak Eko!” (a popular Indonesian saying for “thumbs up!”). But the biggest surprise was how everyone, especially beloved leader Seungyoon, fluently conversed with Inner Circles in English. Seungyoon even managed to show off his knowledge about Jakarta and excitedly told Inner Circles how happy he was because he managed to eat a lot his favourite Indonesian food, Nasi Goreng.

Irresistible alone, unstoppable together
They wouldn’t be WINNER, if they didn’t have surprises up their sleeves. In this case, it was a special solo performance that showcased just how charming each of them were. Mino was the first one to set the atmosphere on fire with heated performances of ‘BODY’ and ‘TURN OFF THE LIGHT’, all while wearing just a blazer and a pantsuit that gave Inner Circles glimpses of his tattoos.

Seunghoon then took it up a notch with powerful dance performances of ‘SERENADE’ and ‘RINGA LINGA’.  After a while, Jinwoo drastically changed the mood with a cover G-Dragon‘s ‘UNTITLED, 2014’ appearing like an angel on stage in his soft pink outfit.

Last but not least, leader Seungyoon showed his various charms with his solo song ‘RAINING’, before switching up the atmosphere into a rock performance of his iconic song ‘INSTINCTIVELY’. He even managed to squeeze an acapella cover of One Direction‘s ‘History’ in between!

Even though they were awesome as solos, WINNER really became the best when all four were present to perform together on stage. As they reunited for ‘WE WERE’, ‘FOR’, and ‘RAINING’, it was easy to understand why the Korean public fell in love with them and voted them as the winner of YGE‘s survival show ‘WIN: WHO IS NEXT?’ There was no time to dwell on sadness, however, as they returned to what they do best: cranking up the vibe with energetic performances of ‘ISLAND’, ‘REALLY REALLY’, and ‘LA LA’. But time really did fly amidst all the fun as they soon exited the stage with a loud and happy “Terima kasih!” (Thank you!).

Inner Circles’ beloved movie stars
The minute WINNER left the stage, Indonesian Inner Circles cheered loudly for an encore by singing the chorus of ‘MOVIE STAR’ while lifting their banners saying “WINNER is our Movie Star”. Through their relentless efforts, WINNER finally returned on stage and rocked the place once again with a cute performance of ‘DON’T FLIRT’ and ‘LUXURY’, followed by another rendition of ‘REALLY REALLY’ and ‘EVERYDAY’ all while running around the stage to get closer to their fans.

Jinwoo thanked everyone and promised he will come back soon, while Seunghoon flexed his skills by saying, “Senang bertemu kalian. Sampai jumpa lagi!” (I’m happy I can meet you. See you again!). Mino, as always, flirted with Inner Circles by saying “Aku cinta kamu” (I love you) and kept using the term “Sayang” (Dear). Of course, leader Seungyoon concluded it all with a wholesome speech about how thankful he was that Inner Circles supported their music, making it possible for them to be in Jakarta performing. He hoped that everyone had a good time, and Indonesian Inner Circles responded with a resounding scream that definitely meant yes!
