Press Conference Highlights: UIQ’s Launch in Indonesia
A press conference was held to provide deeper insights into the launch of UIQ in Indonesia. Seo Jinkyeong, Vice President of UIQ, expressed her excitement: “We are thrilled to introduce our brand to Indonesia. UIQ is a skincare brand developed by Genome & Company, a global leader in microbiome technology,” she said. UIQ products combine microbiome ingredients that strengthen the skin’s natural defenses by activating beneficial bacteria. She also expressed her excitement in partnering with Skincara and Sociolla to strategcally launch and expand the brand in Indonesia.
Rya Jeon, CMO of Skincara, added, “The opportunity to introduce UIQ, a microbiome-based beauty brand, to the Indonesian market is a significant achievement for Skincara. As the exclusive distributor of UIQ in Indonesia, we are excited to collaborate with Sociolla.” She further emphasized that with the right education on microbiome technology, UIQ can reach its target audience and achieve success through Sociolla, Indonesia’s most trusted omnichannel beauty-tech retailer. Sociolla’s ability to merge both online and offline experiences will play a crucial role in connecting Skincara’s brands with Indonesian consumers.
Chrisanti Indiana, Co-Founder and CMO of Social Bella, shared her enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “At Sociolla, we pride ourselves on understanding the beauty market in Indonesia, especially with the growing interest in K-wave trends. Our collaboration with Skincara to introduce UIQ to Indonesia reflects our commitment to staying ahead and offering innovative beauty experiences to our customers.” She conveyed confidence that the combination of Sociolla’s deep understanding of local beauty preferences and UIQ’s advanced technology will deliver something truly special for beauty enthusiasts in Indonesia.
Finally, Rita Yovita, CCO of Lippo Mall Indonesia, which hosted the event, concluded, “We are pleased to support the launch of the innovative K-beauty brand UIQ in Indonesia. Introduced through the collaboration between Sociolla and Skincara, we are confident that UIQ will quickly win the hearts of beauty lovers across the country.
