[INDONESIA] TWICE Showed ONCEs the ‘Perfect World’ at ‘READY TO BE’ in Jakarta

Five years after their previous concert in Indonesia, TWICE took fans on a journey with some classic jams and new tunes at ‘READY TO BE’ in Jakarta on December 23, 2023. Shall we reminisce on some of the unforgettable moments from the concert together?

An Energetic Stage and Lively Atmosphere

The girls greeted fans in their black and white bejeweled outfits and started the night with a performance of their latest title track Set Me Free. The hot weather outside was reflected inside the stadium with how enthusiastic Indonesian ONCEs were the moment TWICE appeared in stage!

The vibrant ambiance continued through the songs that followed such as I Can’t Stop Me, Go Hard, and the addicting Moonlight Sunrise that had everyone in the building singing and dancing along.

Stellar Solo Performances

Further demonstrating their talent and versatility as artists, each of the girls performed their solo stages. From a melodic piece of Colbie Caillat’s Try by Dahyun to the powerful rendition of Beyonce’s Move by Momo and the captivating Ariana Grande’s 7 rings by Mina, the girls truly made sure everyone was entertained throughout!

In between the solo stages, TWICE also sang some more of their beloved tracks, including Feel Special, Cry For Me, and Fancy. With their bright and flowy costumes, the group successfully created a magnetic and enchanting vibe.

A Captivating Symphony of Hits

Before we knew it, it was time for the performance that everyone was waiting for: TWICE title track medley! The girls spoiled the audience with some of their most popular tracks, starting with Yes or Yes. It was then followed by What Is Love? which definitely had everyone grooving along.

Moving onto their older songs, they performed Cheer Up, Likey, Knock Knock, all the way to Heart Shaker. It was safe to say that this lineup of songs had everyone hyped!

A Harmonious Fusion of Live Band

Always eager to freshen up their stage act, for this concert, TWICE was accompanied by a live band for some of their songs. Tracks like the exotic Alcohol-Free, the summery Dance The Night Away, and the bubbly Talk That Talk got even more elevated with the new arrangement!

After that, the night continued with a nostalgia-inducing When We Were Kids. The screen showed TWICE members when they were kids and them in the present moment. It was undoubtedly a testament to how far they have come.

The night ended with Perfect World, which perfectly summed up the whole concert experience. Although it had to come to an end, the show surely became a memorable experience for all Indonesian ONCEs. We will be patiently waiting for the next time the girls make their way back to Jakarta!
