2018 started off wonderfully for Thunder fans in Indonesia, as they were treated to a special mini concert and fan-meeting. The event was held by Sonamu Cine House and Showbox Corp in collaboration with Snowbay Waterpark TMII as part of the promotional tour for Thunder’s upcoming movie, ‘Forever Holiday in Bali‘.
As he walked past the fans to get to the stage, Thunder warmly greeted everyone with his patented easy smile. Without further ado, he swooned everyone with a duet performance with his co-star, Indonesian actress Cailtin Halderman. Together, they serenaded fans with ‘Destiny’, the soundtrack of their upcoming movie. Their honey voices melted together as the song talks about the fated meeting of a lover. According to them, it was a sneak peek to what the movie will tell. With such a beautiful teaser, we definitely can’t wait to see the movie!
However, that was not all. Thunder proceeded to take over the stage with a special performance of his latest single, ‘Ringxiety’. The light melody and his smooth voice soothed our hearts, but it was his stage presence that truly captivated us. He was really at ease, and it was palpable to our eyes from the way he interacted with fans during the fan-meeting. With appreciative gestures and a warm smile that could melt even the coldest heart, he accepted fan gifts and took group photos and selfies with them. Honestly, it was a really heartwarming sight!
To fans’ delight, Thunder confirmed that he will be in Indonesia until January 18th. Though he is currently here to promote his upcoming movie, he assured fans that he’s open to do more promotional activities in Indonesia, making fans screamed in excitement because who wouldn’t love to see more of him? Before ending the event, Thunder hopes ‘Forever Holiday in Bali’ will be well received and will make viewers happy as they soak in the spirit of love!
Produced by Sonamu Cine House and Showbox Corp, ‘Forever Holiday in Bali’ is the first movie collaboration between Indonesia and Korea. It tells the story of Kay (played by Thunder), a Korean singer who is grieving his mother’s death. By fate, he meets Putri (played by Caitlin Halderman), an aspiring designer who had to bury her dream so she can financially support her family. Will their love overcome differences and struggles of their relationship? Be sure to check out the film once it is released on January 11th 2018! 😀
