[INDONESIA] The True Colors of (G)I-DLE at Just Me ()I-DLE in Jakarta

The talented girls of (G)I-DLE were on fire as they performed their hit songs during their 2022 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [JUST ME ()I-DLE] in Jakarta. Members Soyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, Miyeon and Shuhua showed their unique colours on stage and performed their all for NEVERLANDs who were eagerly waiting for them. Here’s a breakdown of their first solo concert in Indonesia!

Versatile Superstars

(G)I-DLE is well known for their wide variety of discography ranging from hip-hop, rock, dance pop, to EDM. Not to mention, each comeback were always represented by different concepts such as summer vibe, girl crush, horror and even rock stars. The girls proved they are multi-talented in presenting diverse sides of themselves on stage while blending them all into one cohesive storyline. That itself, is a charm that only (G)I-DLE can pull off.

Starting the set with title track Oh My God, (G)I-DLE showed their divinely dark side as the opening number. The girls soon continued with more of their hit songs, VILLAIN DIES and LATATA. They then switched the mood and performed their livelier tracks, SENORITA, DUMDi DUMDi, and Luv U. Entering the second segment of their concert, the girls switched it up with HANN (Alone in winter) and HANN (Alone). Like true rock stars, they effortlessly added more fun with LIAR, Never Stop Me, and TOMBOY as their final segment on stage.

Performance Queens

After their successful participation in MNET’s reality survival show Queendom in 2019, (G)I-DLE garnered massive support from the general public through their uniquely stunning performances. True enough, it was indeed an experience witnessing their live stages of LION and HWAA which truly solidified their passionately alluring and captivating aura.

The atmosphere became much hotter when the girls performed the highly anticipated tracks MY BAG and TOMBOY. NEVERLANDs could not help but to also sing and dance along to the songs in perfect ensemble with the girls, creating a memorable stage that both (G)I-DLE and NEVERLANDs will cherish for a long time.

Individual Uniqueness

Although there were no solo stages, Miyeon, Yuqi, and Minnie showcased their raw vocal skills while interacting with fans which was truly a treat for NEVERLANDs. Another notable segment from the show was when Yuqi and Minnie danced cutely to SENORITA earning them thunderous applause and cheers from the crowd.

While most would assume Shuhua to be the calm maknae, it was truly legendary when she unexpectedly turned it up and transformed into a strong performer on stage. Meanwhile, despite her strong image as the leader and main producer for the group, it was the opposite for Soyeon as she turned super shy during her sudden birthday surprise during their encore. Miyeon was also seen lightening up the mood throughout the show and hyping up the fans as they continued to enjoy the concert.

With their individual unique personalities blended into one, (G)I-DLE successfully pulled off a memorable night for NEVERLANDs coupled with their authentic selves and amazing performances. With a promise to come back to the city soon with more spectacular stages, (G)I-DLE ended the night with POLAROID, accurately capturing the true essence of the concert.
