THE BOYZ returned to Jakarta to fulfill their promise of a world tour they wished for back in 2019. Entitled THE BOYZ WORLD TOUR : THE B-ZONE IN JAKARTA, this was THE BOYZ’s third visit to the city after two years of no overseas concert activities. Unfortunately, Eric could not attend the event as he was on hiatus due to health problems. This did not stop them from showing their best performance throughout the two-hour concert at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta.
Entering the stage in all black attires, THE BOYZ fired up the stage with Maverick, followed by enchanting performances of The Stealer and Merry Bad Ending. The first section is closed with the most awaited stage from their Road To Kingdom performance, CHECKMATE.
Returning to the stage after a costume change, THE BOYZ appeared with a fresh rendition of Whiplash. They continued to walk and greet fans while singing Dancing Till We Drop. THE BOYZ then serenaded the fans with their amazing vocals through performances of Break Your Rules, 36.5 (Melting Heart) and Lucid Dream.
Moments with Indonesian THE B
During their ment, THE BOYZ stated that they had been waiting for the opportunity to come to Indonesia again and really missed THE Bs. Q greeted fans with fluent Indonesian “Apa kabar sayang” or “How are you, darling?” while Sangyeon added “Happy Eid Al-Adha” to Indonesian fans. Jacob also sang a popular Indonesian song Dari Matamu and said that he practiced the song backstage while waiting to perform.
Continuing the concert, THE BOYZ brought thrilling performances in red outfits with Shake You Down, Hypnotized, Nightmare and REVEAL . The members then brought their energy back to the stage with BOY, No Air and their newest song, THRILL RIDE.
While waiting for the members to return on stage, all THE Bs at the venue simultaneously sang Daydream as a fan project for the concert. The members were very grateful and asked fans to sing it one more time together with them. Based on fans suggestions, THE BOYZ also gave a special nickname to Indonesian THE Bs, namely DEOBI + INA = DEOBINA which means ‘bersinar‘ or ‘shining’ which was followed with cheers of approval from fans.
The performance continued with encore stage of DDD. Before ending the concert, Kevin said “Sampai jumpa lagi” and promised that they would come back with Eric. This time, THE BOYZ really ended their concert with Bet On You and disappeared from stage as it marked the end of THE B-ZONE IN JAKARTA.
