[INDONESIA] So Ji Sub Saying ‘Hello, Jakarta’ in an Enchanting Fan Meeting

After successfully holding a fan meeting in 2017, So Ji Sub returned to Indonesia for another one. With the aim of always being able to greet his fans happily, So Ji Sub chose ‘Hello Jakarta’ as the event’s title. For nearly 2.5 hours, So Ji Sub filled Balai Sarbini on 9th March 2019 with questions and answers, songs and even advice to his fans. It was truly an unforgettable Saturday afternoon.

Connecting with Fans

True to his word on always greeting fans happily, So Ji Sub had many wonderful moments with the fans’ involvement. The first one was ‘You’ve Got Message’ where he answered some of the questions sent by fans on the screen. Multiple questions were asked; ranging from airport styles, exercise routine to movie preference. He gave advice on trying Korean food for the first time, saying that bibimbap with sesame oil instead of red chili sauce is a perfect choice.

So Ji Sub transformed into Terius on the second segment: ‘Ask Terius’. This was an interactive part where fans had the chance to ask for a bit of advice, in real-time. Two lucky fans got the opportunity to seek advice. The first one asked about dieting tips, in which the actor calmly suggested that she always pay attention to her food intake. The second question was a bit tough that So Ji Sub even commented that he was not responsible for the outcome. Eventually, he still answered the question related to life decisions that the fans had thrown.

Romantic Afternoon with the Actor

It was more than an act as real-life So Ji Sub is really a romantic person. The fan meeting progressed with ‘All About So Ji Sub’, which was a quiz session! Several questions were displayed on the screen, and So Ji Sub had to ask the audience for help. He personally delivered the souvenirs to the audience, once the questions were answered correctly. The main highlight happened when the actor announced a special gift (personal postcard and a lovely necklace) for one of his lucky fans. The lucky girl not only received the gift, but also a hug and an escort back to her seat. What a gentleman!

More than a Fan Meeting

So Ji Sub might be an actor, but he is also a professional singer who has released many albums. It came as no surprise that the fan meeting turned into a mini-concert in the end. Starting the event with a remake of ‘Can’t Smile Without You’, So Ji Sub sang a total of 10 songs by the end of the event. A great rendition of IKON’s ‘Love Scenario’ also was part of the festivity. He was joined by Soul Dive on stage to serenade his own personal songs, such as ‘So Ganzi’, ‘Oh Boy’ and ‘Baby’.
