The energy was immaculate at Jakarta International Stadium on February 8-9 as SEVENTEEN held their SEVENTEEN ‘Right Here’ World Tour in Jakarta. It had been over two years since the incredible artists held their concert in the city, so Indonesian CARATs were more than excited to welcome them back!

Powerful Start
The ambience at the start of the concert was nothing short of mysterious. The big screen showed an on-and-off red smokey background animation while the dancers were dancing in circles, as if summoning SEVENTEEN to appear on the stage. Shortly, the first tunes of Fear were heard, signaling the show had officially started. S.Coups, Joshua, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino showed up in full black attire, in contrast with the deep red stage background, it made all eyes instantly transfixed on them.
The strong performance of Fear was then followed by a powerful rendition of Fearless. Performing with mountains and storms in the background, the boys made a bold statement that nothing could scare them anymore. The first segment of the night concluded with MAESTRO, which featured Woozi’s piano performance and Hoshi’s solo dance at the beginning.

The All-Rounder Group
Although SEVENTEEN’s charm as a full group was unbeatable, they were also unstoppable when performing as sub-groups. The Hip-Hop unit, consisting of S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon, became the first unit to take over the stage. The quartet’s amazing rap skills were well showcased through Water and Monster.
The swag from the Hip-Hop unit was slowly replaced by the alluring aura from Hoshi, The8, and Dino, who took the stage as the performance unit. The three succeeded in hypnotising the audience as they performed Rain and Lilili Yabbay. Lastly, vocal unit which consists of Woozi, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan, brought their breathtaking voices to the stage as they sang Candy and Cheers to youth. Tremendous rap, captivating dance, and heavenly vocals—SEVENTEEN surely had it all!

The Fun Continued
Aside from being pros at giving impactful performances, SEVENTEEN also knew how to have fun on stage. During Oh My! performance, the audience erupted into laughter at the skit they pulled, where the performance had to be paused because Vernon was sleeping on the stage instead of singing his part. “Sorry!” Vernon said to the fans after jokingly being scolded by The8.
The performance went smoothly for a while, but near the end of the song, it was halted again. The dancers came on stage dressed in various animal costumes—including a gorilla, a rabbit, and other animals—challenging them to a dance battle. Being the pro performers they were, SEVENTEEN accepted the challenge without missing a beat. But this was no ordinary dance battle—Hoshi, DK, Mingyu, and Vernon did the gwenchana challenge which is currently trending on social media. It successfully brought even more laughter from the audience.

SEVENTEEN and CARATs Joint Concert
Knowing fully well that they had way too many good songs that sadly could not be included in the concert’s setlist, the boys turned one of their ment times into a jamming session. Starting with CLAP, their sensational song from their second album, TEEN, AGE, SEVENTEEN kicked off the impromptu sing-along session with Indonesian CARATs. Besides that, they also sang more fan favorites like DON QUIXOTE and Kidult. The fans were more than happy to welcome the song additions to the concert!
Before the encore started, the audience did more sing-alongs as they waited for the members to get ready. Songs like Darl+ing, Rock With You, Back It Up, and CHEERS were sung enthusiastically, making the concert experience even more fun and exciting for everyone. During the encore, a lucky fan even got the chance to sing the musical version of Very Nice with DK. We think it’s only fair to call it SEVENTEEN and CARATs’ joint concert!

Heartfelt Gratitude
Near the end of the concert, each member expressed their feelings after spending time with their beloved fans. Hoshi said that it was an honor for him as a singer to perform in a stadium (like Jakarta International Stadium), and it was possible because of CARATs. At the end of the speech, he flaunted his Bahasa Indonesia skills by saying, “Hari ini senang? Mana suaranya? Aku cinta Horanghae!” (Are you happy today? Make some noise! I love Horanghae!)
S.Coups, the leader, thanked everyone for filling up the venue to watch them. He and the other members were so happy to hold the concert in Jakarta and will try their best to come back more often in the future.
We will definitely wait for your return, SEVENTEEN!
