[INDONESIA] Lee Junho Successfully Stole Hearts at Fanmeeting in Jakarta

It had been eight years since Lee Junho last came to Indonesia, and Indonesian Hottests could not be any happier to welcome him back. Lee Junho successfully held his LEE JUNHO 1st FANMEETING TOUR <JUNHO THE MOMENT 2023> in Jakarta on November 25, 2023 at ICE BSD City.

The fanmeeting officially started when Lee Junho made a cool entrance by performing his solo songs, Nobody Else and Canvas. He appeared on the stage with a shining silver top paired with black trousers and a silver necklace, catching the audience’s attention instantly. 

Following the performances, Lee Junho continued to impress the audience by introducing himself in full perfect Bahasa Indonesia, “Selamat datang di acara fanmeeting tour pertama saya, Junho The Moment 2023. Saya senang sekali datang ke Jakarta. Saya akan membuat hari ini dan momen ini menjadi kenangan yang berharga.” (Welcome to my first fanmeeting tour, Junho The Moment 2023. I’m very happy to be in Jakarta. I will make today and this moment a precious memory.)

True to his words, the fanmeeting left precious memories all thanks to his fun self. During the first segment, Lee Junho showed a few pictures of when he was a child. When asked about how he was back then (in which the fans answered with ‘cute!’), Lee Junho shared that he was a fast kid as he loved to run. This trait often made him hurt himself, but it never made him regret. Lee Junho grew into a strong and athletic man!

Lee Junho then introduced a special segment called Fan ❤️ Junho Favorite Moment where the actor would make fans’ wishes come true. The segment brought the most laughter from the audience and from Lee Junho himself as both parties kept interacting with one another. Many fans wish to make a heart and take pictures with him, but others had special wishes, such as wanting to be sung a birthday song and even jokingly asking Lee Junho to lend them money. The last wish was not granted because Lee Junho jokingly asked them to lend him money instead, saying, “Boleh pinjam seratus?” (Can you lend me a hundred?)

After showing off his persona as a pro idol, Lee Junho then continued to spread his charms as a remarkable actor. Lee Junho reenacted the famous scene from The Red Sleeve where Yi San, the character that he played, read poetry for his love interest, Deok Im. As Lee Junho read the poetry with the same emotions as he did in the drama, it only made the fans miss The Red Sleeve even more!

During this segment, a few memorable clips from Lee Junho’s drama were played, one of them being the famous sauna scene in King The Land, where his character visited the sauna for the first time and got stunned by the taste of the boiled eggs there. The actor shared that he ate 15–20 eggs for the scene specifically and had to skip dinner in order to prepare his stomach for it. When asked about his thoughts of having to eat that many eggs in one sitting, he jokingly said during the filming that he only thought the eggs would be good for his muscles.

After joyful moments of interacting with the fans and sharing fun memories, the fanmeeting continued with more eye-opening and ear-pleasing performances from the 2PM vocalist. Lee Junho serenaded the audience by singing Nothing But You and Run To You.

After an outfit change, the stage was fully owned by the darker and sexier side of Lee Junho. His dancing and rapping skills were showcased as he performed Can I, I’m In Love, Wow, and Ride Up. Lee Junho also performed Zero Point to ease Indonesian Hottests’ longing for 2PM.

Two and a half hours passed, and it was time for him to say goodbye. Before taking pictures with the audience, Lee Junho received a video as a little gift from fans. The fans also showed yellow slogans and a sunflower-shaped hand fans with ‘Always Next To Junho’ written in the middle as a way to show support for the artist.

Before making his exit, Lee Junho expressed his gratitude to the fans who have been supporting him throughout his career. He felt really happy about coming to Jakarta and made a promise to come back.
