[INDONESIA] Inside Minhoverse: Lee Minho’s Magical Fanmeeting in Jakarta

Jakarta was brought to life on the night of April 19th, 2025, as Lee Min Ho brought his MINHOVERSE fanmeeting to ICE BSD City, Hall 5-6. The show kicked off right on time at 7 PM and did not slow down for the next two hours, packed with music, games, and heartwarming moments. Lee Min Ho’s effortless charm and Indra Herlambang’s lively hosting as the MC electrified the energy in the room. This Jakarta stop was part of the MINHOVERSE tour, which began in Seoul and continued across Asia.

Lively and Loud Minhoverse

The Jakarta fan meeting started with a burst of energy as Lee Min Ho opened the night by performing his 2015 hit The Days with flawless vocals, accompanied by a live band. He really showcased his genuine talent and stage presence.

After the opening song lit up the stage, Indra Herlambang took a moment to welcome everyone and then explained the concept of MINHOVERSE. It was not just another fan meeting, it was a unique experience, an entire galaxy dedicated to Lee Min Ho where fans were invited to step into his world and become part of his personal universe. A smart blend of “Minho” and “universe,” this tour was designed to let fans experience his world in a deeper, more personal way. As explained by Sheila Adelia from LitXperience as the promoter, fans are invited into Minho’s world through exclusive activities that are offered differently in each country. You were not just attending an event, you were stepping into Lee Min Ho’s universe.

Throughout the show, Lee Min Ho surprised fans by performing more of his well-loved tracks, including Without You (2013) and Stalker (2014), each woven naturally between different segments. He eventually closed the musical part of the night with the emotional ballad Always, leaving the audience swaying, singing along, and deeply moved.

Heartfelt MINOZ Experience

What is a fanmeeting without some interactive fun? Lee Min Ho upped the game with a hilarious round of Rock, Paper, Scissors Next Level or should we say: Batu Gunting Kerrrrrrrrrtas. Yes, Min Ho put maximum effort into rolling that ‘R’. Some of Indonesian Minoz (fandom name) got to play with him directly. The first winner got to hold Min Ho’s hand, while the second earned a gentle head pat from the actor. However, Min Ho, being the sweetheart he is, went above and beyond, giving the fans an unexpected hug despite their winning tier.

Lee Min Ho also took time to answer a question sent by Minoz, asking who was better, Kim Tan (from his 2013’s drama The Heirs) or Gong Ryong (from his 2025’s drama When The Star Gossips). He joked that Kim Tan was much wealthier than Gong Ryong, which was definitely important. He also shared a personal connection to his roles, stating that parts of him could be found in both Lee Gon (from his 2020’s drama The King: Eternal Monarch) and Gong Ryong. He said that when surrounded by people he loved, more of Gong Ryong’s traits were shown. However, in situations requiring firmness, Lee Gon’s traits came out. With fans, however, it was definitely Gong Ryong that was displayed.

The conversation was taken to a deeper level when Lee Min Ho’s acting experiences were discussed, particularly in physically demanding scenes. He admitted that, if given the choice between hitting or being hit, being hit in front of the camera was mentally preferred. It was explained that during fight scenes, he felt discomfort when striking co-stars, but when the roles were reversed, a sense of peace was experienced because apologies were usually given afterward and everything was resolved.

From Bali to Bekasi

A sweet and emotional moment was created when the memory of Lee Min Ho’s last visit to Indonesia twelve years ago was brought up by Indra Herlambang. He delivered a heartfelt message as he expressed how much he missed Indonesian Minoz and how grateful he was for the warm welcome. Although it had been twelve years since his last fanmeeting, Indonesia had not been completely missed by him, as a more recent visit to Bali for a photoshoot was recalled.

During that time, he enjoyed surfing, along with many delicious meals. When he was asked which other places in Indonesia he would like to visit, a wave of enthusiastic answers was shouted by fans. Among them was the unexpected mention of Bekasi, which brought a puzzled yet amused expression to Lee Min Ho’s face. A round of laughter was sparked when Bekasi was jokingly described by Indra as a city from another planet. That moment instantly became one of the highlights of the evening.

Min Ho’s Next Chapter

Before the evening came to a close, Lee Min Ho shared some exciting updates. A new movie titled Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint was announced to be released in July, and fans were warmly encouraged to look forward to it. Additional projects were hinted at with enthusiasm. A new drama was revealed to be in the works following the movie, and a promise was made by Lee Min Ho to stay busy through this year and the next.

The fanmeeting was filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and electrifying performances that would not be forgotten anytime soon. As fans waved goodbye, one hope remained clear: that his next visit would not take another twelve years. Because when it comes to Lee Min Ho, Indonesian Minoz is always ready.
