[INDONESIA] INDONESIAN TEUMES FINALLY ‘FOUND THE TREASURE’ IN JAKARTA

After a long wait, YG Entertainment’s youngest boy group, TREASURE, finally stopped by Indonesia for their global world tour. They managed to give Teumes a marvelous weekend of performances and unforgettable stages!

Beautiful Blue Ocean 

As Teumes entered the concert venue, they began to form a blinking blue crowd that the fandom is well-known for. While waiting for the concert to start, the fans chanted and sang HELLO together, which erupted into louder cheers when TREASURE finally made their appearance.

TREASURE kicked off the concert straight away with JIKJIN, followed by incredibly lively back-to-back performances of BOY and I LOVE YOU. After a timely VCR and outfit change, the boys resumed their incredible stages with GOING CRAZY, COME TO ME, and B.L.T (BLING LIKE THIS). Teumes’ enthusiasm multiplied as the night went on with the fans waving their lightsticks in endless support of their favorite performances. The lighting from the stage and beautiful blue from Teulight turned the venue into a vibrant ocean.

A Warm Night Full of Laughter

After a remarkable opening, TREASURE took the chance to say their greetings and interacted with fans in English. Their effort in communicating with their beloved fans did not end there, having even joked around by mentioning some ‘pick-up lines’ in Indonesian, making the crowd go crazy.

The concert restarted with beautiful performances of SLOW MOTION and IT’S OKAY, creating a comforting atmosphere. TREASURE’s sincerity when singing those tracks were felt deeply enough to hopefully give good, lasting memories for Teumes.

Unmatched Stage Presence

TREASURE upped their youthful energy by performing their latest title track, HELLO to hype up the stage, followed by CLAP as the crowd sang and clapped along. Their passionate stages did not stop there as TREASURE performed their hit song, DARARI next, and continued with ORANGE and HOLD IT IN. To TREASURE’s delighted surprise, Teumes seemed to be very fluent in reciting the lyrics of their songs. 

TREASURE ended the middle portion of the concert with several planned unit and cover stages much to the audience’s anticipation. Asahi and Haruto started off by energetically performing THANK YOU, making the fans sing along with them and return the gratitude the lyrics’ expressed. TREASURE’s rap line, consisting of HYUN SUK, YOSHI, AND HARUTO, then continued to light the stage ablaze and succeeded in making the venue felt like a lively party with their track, VolKno. 

The charisma did not stop there as they covered their seniors’ legendary songs: RHYTHM TA by iKON and BANG BANG BANG by BIGBANG. It took little to no convincing for the crowd to get on board with TREASURE’s renditions of these songs as they jumped and sang along at the top of their lungs. Afterwards, the boys ended it off with more of their classic hits, such as MMM, U, and MY TREASURE.

An Encore We Couldn’t Get Enough Of

After getting through most of the concert, to their fans’ bittersweet anticipation, the encore had finally arrived. TREASURE came back on the stage and started it off with their first anniversary song, EVERYDAY, followed by BFF (Best Friend Forever).

Through incredible coordination from Indonesian Teumes, they were able to give Jihoon a successful surprise birthday celebration. After receiving his guitar-themed birthday cake and singing the birthday song together with the fans, Jihoon expressed his gratitude and said that he was not even expecting anything. The fans were also rewarded with Jihoon’s warm smile and greetings up close as he happily thanked them while walking around the stage.

Although everyone was sad that the concert was about to end, TREASURE managed to lighten the mood when they promised to come back to Indonesia soon. For their final song, TREASURE closed out their show with their famous remix, DARARI (Rock version) and a medley version of GOING CRAZY + B.L.T (BLING LIKE THIS) + ORANGE!

The second day of the concert also went well, and Indonesian Teumes successfully gave a great impression for TREASURE. We hope to see TREASURE return to Indonesia soon!
