[INDONESIA] Hwang In Youp Turns Jakarta into His K-Drama World at ‘To You’ Fanmeeting

Jakarta welcomed Hwang In Youp once again! After more than a year since his last visit, the beloved actor finally returned to meet his Indonesian fans for another special evening filled with laughter, sweet interactions, and heart-fluttering moments. This time, he brought his 2026 HWANG IN YOUP FANMEETING TOUR <To You> to Jakarta on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Jakarta Concert Hall, MNC Center.

Marking his third fanmeeting in Jakarta, this visit was particularly special for fans who had been waiting for his return for over a year, following his last fanmeeting in February 2025 at The Kasablanka Hall. His return also came on the heels of the buzz surrounding his latest drama, Dream to You.

With To You as its theme, the fanmeeting felt like a personal celebration of the special connection between Hwang In Youp and HIYILY (fandom name). From playful conversations and charming surprises to thoughtful fan service and memorable performances, he made sure the evening was filled with moments that fans would cherish long after the curtains closed. Here’s a look back at the highlights of his unforgettable night in Jakarta!

From School Uniforms to Woo Soo-bin

The evening kicked off on a high note as Hwang In Youp took the stage with a performance of Love Attack originally sung by RE:SCENE, setting the mood for a night filled with music, laughter, and heart-fluttering moments. It was the perfect opening to reunite with HIYILY and get everyone excited for the special moments ahead.

The first part of the evening took fans through three entertaining segments, starting with TAKE 1: Personal Color – Uniform. Hwang In Youp revisited some of his most recognizable school-uniform looks from Dream to You, Family by Choice, The Sound of Magic, True Beauty, and 18 Again. He jokingly remarked that perhaps wearing a school uniform in the opening video was enough, considering he was already over 30 and had worn them in quite a few dramas. Needless to say, HIYILY was not quite ready to let go of his uniform-clad charm just yet!

Things got a little more playful with TAKE 2: The Guilty Human, Hwang Fox Appears session. The highlight of this segment was undoubtedly the appearance of Hwang Fox, a nickname inspired by Hwang In Youp’s sharp, fox-like eyes and signature intense gaze that never fails to make fans swoon. He talked about working on his physique for his drama roles and promised to exercise more for future projects. He also happily demonstrated his signature fox-like gaze toward different sections of the venue, including the upper seats, sending fans into a frenzy.

The final segment, TAKE 3: Falling for Woo Soo-bin, brought the conversation to his latest drama, Dream to You, and his character Woo Soo-bin. Hwang In Youp praised his co-star Lee Hyeri and shared that Soo-bin was perhaps the character closest to his real personality, while admitting that he could be quite jealous himself. When asked about the drama’s many kissing scenes, he playfully reminded fans that acting was his profession and that once the director called “Cut!“, he simply returned to being Hwang In Youp. He also recalled the challenges of filming numerous rainy scenes during the freezing Korean winter, giving fans another glimpse into the experience behind the drama.

Your K-Drama Moment with Hwang In Youp

One of the most anticipated segments was CLOSE TO YOU, where selected fans got the opportunity to step onto the stage and act out romantic scenarios with Hwang In Youp. The scenarios range from celebrating their 100th day together to turning a friendship into romance and experiencing love at first sight. The lucky HIYILY got to live out their own mini K-drama moments.

The excitement was so overwhelming that Hwang In Youp had to ask HIYILY to lower their voices because he could barely hear himself on stage. But honestly, how could anyone stay calm when he was being that affectionate? One particularly funny moment happened when an eager fan immediately asked for a hug before the scenario had even properly begun, leaving everyone laughing.

After all those heart-fluttering interactions, Hwang In Youp returned to the stage for a musical treat. He performed two songs back-to-back, a cover of Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and Reality originally sung by Richard Sanderson. The performances offered a lovely change of pace while giving fans another opportunity to enjoy his charming presence and vocals.

Paper Planes Across the Room

The next segment, LETTER TO YOU, created one of the most beautiful scenes of the evening. HIYLY wrote heartfelt messages to Hwang In Youp on paper planes and flew them toward the stage, while he prepared his own paper planes containing personal messages and his autograph. To make the gesture even more special, he sprayed them with the perfume he regularly uses. Watching red paper planes fill the venue as fans shouted “Inyoup oppa, saranghae!” was truly a sight to remember. Hwang In Youp responded in Indonesian with a sweet, “Aku juga cinta kalian!” (I love you too!).

The romantic atmosphere continued as Hwang In Youp ventured into the floor section to meet HIYILY more closely. Armed with red roses, Hwang In Youp made his way around the venue to personally hand flowers to some lucky HIYILY. He greeted fans one by one, posing for photos on their phones, waving, accepting letters and small gifts, exchanging high-fives, and making eye contact along the way. He even leaned down to hear what fans were saying, showing just how attentive he was to each interaction. Each interaction felt like a little personal moment, making the lucky HIYILY feel extra special.

Getting to Know In Youp and Four Dance Challenges!

It was then time for Hwang In Youp to play another game with his fans. HIYILY were asked to guess his answers to several questions, and those who managed to get them right had the chance to win a special selfie with him. The segment gave fans another opportunity to show just how well they knew their favorite actor, while adding plenty of fun and laughter to the evening.

But the real surprise came in the middle of the Q&A session when Hwang In Youp took on T-ARA‘s iconic Bo Peep Bo Peep dance challenge, complete with a cat properties! He even performed it twice with two different sets, with the second look bringing back memories of his beloved character Seo-Jun from True Beauty. Naturally, HIYILY wanted more and started requesting other dance challenges, including CORTIS’ GO.

The MC joined in, suggesting ATEEZ’s Bad, which could be performed without too much complicated footwork. Hwang In Youp accepted the challenge, bringing the total to four dance challenges in one fanmeeting! He even apologized for not being able to give his best performance because his boots were a little uncomfortable. Honestly, after four different challenges, HIYILY could not have asked for more!

A Promise to Remember

For his final musical performance, Hwang In Youp sang Promise by Wonstein, giving the evening a heartfelt closing soundtrack. It was a fitting moment after more than two hours of laughter, playful exchanges, and unforgettable interactions with his fans.

The fanmeeting concluded with a hi-touch session, giving every attendee the opportunity to greet Hwang In Youp personally before saying goodbye. It was a sweet final gesture that allowed fans to end the evening with a memory they could take home.

From the charming Hwang Fox and the romantic Woo Soo-bin to his playful dance challenges and incredibly thoughtful fan service, Hwang In Youp made To You feel like a personal love letter to HIYILY. He did not just share the stage with his fans, he made time to connect with them, listen to them, and create special memories together. And for HIYILY, it was certainly a night filled with love, laughter, and more than enough reasons to fall for Hwang In Youp all over again.
