[INDONESIA] CIX Dazzle Indonesian Fans at First Press Showcase in Jakarta

Last night, the five charismatic boys of CIX ( BX, Seunghun, Bae Jin Young, Yonghee, and Hyunsuk) visited Indonesia for their first Press Showcase and Fansign Event < Hello, Stranger> in Jakarta. The fans gathered at the Upperroom Hall to watch the boys perform live.

Wearing all white, CIX kicked off the press showcase with live performances of their song ‘What You Wanted‘. Their ardent fans jammed along and did the fan-chants to the song excitedly. It was clear the fans were pumped to see the members on stage!

After the first song, CIX had their first talk segment. Fans cheered enthusiastically as soon as the boys came out on stage. The members introduced themselves and attempted some Indonesian slang like ‘UNYU’ (cute) and ‘SHEYENG’ (honey). They also tried their hand at an Indonesian viral dance called ‘Salah Apa Aku‘ as the fans sang along to the song.

The boys came back to the stage with casual white shirts and performed debut ‘Movie Star’. CIX captivated the fans with their impeccable harmony and slick dance moves. After the song, fans quickly settled down during the Album Talk as the boys were asked to describe all the tracks of their album <Hello Chapter 1: Hello Stranger>. Members said all the songs in the album are refreshing. Each track has a story behind it and the members described the similarity between each song and their life experiences. It was a highly interactive segment, and fans enthusiastically requested Bae Jin Young to show the audience a dance move from ‘What You Wanted’.

What showcase would be complete without some special talk segments with the fans? CIX talked about how they felt coming to Jakarta. Hyunsuk and Seunghun both proclaimed their love for Nasi Goreng. Hyunsuk said even though he is the youngest, his legs are quite long. He then showed the audience by walking on the stage. For BX, he said that he is good at sports, the fans agreed and cheered for the leader.

The next segment was certainly so memorable, The boys expressed their gratitude to each other and encourage one another. Fans also got their moment as they screening a special VCR for CIX prepared by Indonesian Fans.

Finally, the showcase drew to a close as CIX performed the last song ‘The One’. The members then thanked everyone who came. As the leader, BX shows his gratitude by saying that he hoped all the members and the fans will be together for more than a hundred years. Before they took their leave. They once again expressed their love to everyone that has been supporting them. Members hope they could come back to Indonesia in the future.
