BOYNEXTDOOR surely knew what they were doing with the final stop of their ‘Knock On Vol. 1’ tour in Jakarta. The energy never left the stage and was delivered perfectly to ONEDOOR (fandom name) and everyone at Istora Senayan on April 12. They visited Indonesia for the Golden Disc Awards last year and won the Next Generation Star Award —and honestly, they really are. Right, ONEDOOR?
Gate to Nakwon: Open!
No concert venue has ever been this loud — Indonesian ONEDOOR were already singing their hearts out even before the show started. And when BOYNEXTDOOR finally kicked things off with Earth, Wind & Fire and Dangerous, the crowd totally lost it. They continued to greet Indonesian ONEDOOR and briefly talked about the meaning behind ‘Knock On Vol. 1’ — how the name ‘Knock On’ sounds like ‘nakwon’ in Korean, which means paradise, as well as the preparation behind it. The ‘Vol. 1’ in the title also means they’re going to continue this tour with Vol. 2, Vol. 3, and maybe even all the way to Volume 400!
After the heartfelt greetings and storytelling with ONEDOOR, the boys went all out, continuing the performance with But I Like You and l i f e i s c o o l. They then showed off their strong vocals and stability with Call Me and 20. Safe to say, everyone in the room was truly touched and moved by their voices.

The Fun Was Just About to Start
The fun part of the night finally arrived as they started the next performance with the hit, IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU followed by the loud voices of ONEDOOR singing along — bringing wide smiles to the members’ faces. The stage continued with ABCDLOVE and But Sometimes. After a brief chat with ONEDOOR, they gave us an ‘OST time’ moment by performing Lucky Charm followed by Fadeaway. Shortly after, they brought out the coolest performances of But Sometimes and Gonna Be A Rock.
Next up was ONEDOOR’s time to shine — the ‘Noraebang’ corner with BOYNEXTDOOR! For this session, the chosen song was One and Only and ONEDOOR once again proved their talent by nailing every part, even the rap. The members said this was what made the Indonesia stop truly the one and only concert. Then the boys continued with a non-stop performance of their hits One and Only, SKIT, and Nice Guy before the encore.

An Encore That Came Too Soon
It felt like ONEDOOR had just finished the ‘sing together’ session, and all of a sudden — it was already time for the encore. It truly was an encore that came too soon. The encore began with ONEDOOR’s favorites, Serenade, and fan song 400 Years, followed by the members’ final greetings for ONEDOOR. They expressed their appreciation for the fans’ energy and enthusiasm, and after this concert, they promised to return to Indonesia — even making a heartfelt promise with ONEDOOR.
The coolest part came right after the final greetings — they received a surprise from Indonesian ONEDOOR. The members watched a fan-made video filled with heartfelt messages for them. After watching, they expressed their gratitude to the fans in Indonesia and shared how deeply moved they were by the support. Right after taking a group picture, they finally sang the last song for the encore So let’s go see the stars and wave goodbye to ONEDOOR.

The Never-ending Surprise
Turns out it wasn’t just ONEDOOR who had a surprise for the members — BOYNEXTDOOR truly loves their fans and gave a surprise in return. As fans chanted “Encore!” while the group waved goodbye and headed backstage, no one expected what would happen next — they came back on stage for one more encore!
It was truly magical and left everyone speechless — not only did they perform one more song, but two of their biggest hits: IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU and Earth, Wind & Fire. After the second encore, the members finally left the stage while still singing along with ONEDOOR, for real this time.
And that was a wrap for the beautiful concert! BOYNEXTDOOR and ONEDOOR truly showed the same amount of love for each other, making the final stop of ‘Knock On Vol. 1’ in Jakarta more than worth the wait.
