[INDONESIA] Ambitious and Sweet Rookie, It’s “The Boyz” that We Love

On Saturday morning, 22 June 2019, twelve dazzling boys of The Boyz held an exclusive interview with local and international medias ahead of [The Castle] Fan-Con in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was their first visit to the country and Indonesian The Bs were very excited to give their warmest welcome!

Even though the interview was so early in the morning, all of them looked fresh and excited as they greeted us before entering the interview room. Alongside other medias, we received a chance to directly asked questions to The Boyz about their activities, their dynamics as a group, and many more.

Talking about their first visit to Jakarta, New talked about how beautiful the city is and how delicious the food are. Hwall added that he especially like Salak, a fruit that only grows in Southeast Asia and is especially famous in Indonesia. More importantly, Sangyeon was also very impressed by how energetic Indonesian The Bs are. Sunwoo also talked about how he usually found a lot of comments from Indonesian fans on social media and it made them excited to meet the fans here!

The Boyz who just finished their promotion with “Bloom Bloom”, mentioned their ambition of wanting to try a different concept for their next comeback. Juyeon specifically wanted to try a more manly and sexy concept that’s going to be a total opposite from their latest comeback. Q added that it’s going to be great since The Boyz’ strong point is that they all can sing, act, and dance well. Each member also have their own unique characteristic that can form a good synergy when placed into a group.

The Boyz also have a lot of great plans for the future. When being asked about what they will do if they get a Daesang (the most prestigous award in Korea) one day, Jacob simply answered that they haven’t really thought about it since it’s still very far away for them. He and the rest of the members would probably cry, and it would be the most amazing day for him. One day you will, Boys! 🙂

Before ending the interview, The Boyz conveyed their wishes to The Bs and the plans for The Boyz in the future. Younghoon who represented the members wished that The Bs will keep supporting them endlessly and the fandom can grow bigger and bigger as time goes by. Juhaknyeon wished to show a better version of The Boyz in the future and extend their Asia tour into a world tour so that he can meet more fans around the world. He excitedly showed his enthusiasm by saying “World Domination!”. Hopefully, all of their wishes will all come true!
