[INDONESIA] A Sweet and Festive Affair: ‘2026 Nonsan Strawberry Festival in Jakarta’

The 2026 Nonsan Strawberry Festival in Jakarta was successfully held from February 6 to 8, 2026, at Gandaria City. The annual festival, showcasing premium strawberries from Nonsan, South Korea, drew thousands of visitors and unfolded in a lively and festive atmosphere throughout its three-day run.

Marking a shared commitment to expanding cultural and Agri-food collaboration, Rano Karno, Vice Governor of Jakarta, and Paik Sung Hyun, Mayor of Nonsan, graced the opening ceremony. Their participation reflected the deepening cooperation between Jakarta and Nonsan.

Public enthusiasm was evident from the very first day, as crowds filled the festival grounds to savor fresh strawberries shipped directly from Nonsan, along with a broad selection of strawberry-based desserts and beverages. Renowned for their exceptional freshness and premium quality, Nonsan’s signature strawberries emerged as the main attraction of the event.

Adding to the excitement, the festival presented a vibrant lineup of entertainment, highlighted by a special stage performance from Bae Jin-young. Marking his first visit to Indonesia as a solo artist, he expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome he received from fans from the moment he arrived. Throughout his set, he delivered five songs, performing popular tracks such as Playlist and Round&Round, alongside fan favorites like Hard to Say Goodbye and Songs ‘bout U.

Alongside Bae Jin-young, the main stage showcased an exciting roster of performers including Marion Jola, Papion, Friday Noraebang, Anneth Delicia, DJ Jason, DJ KiMMi, DJ Aqua, DJ Hyelin, and Rizwan Fadila. The synergy between performers and audience created a pulse of energy that carried through the event.

Beyond entertainment, the 2026 Nonsan Strawberry Festival in Jakarta also offered an immersive glimpse into Korean culture through a variety of interactive activities, reinforcing the spirit of cultural exchange between Indonesia and South Korea. Supported by a wide network of partners, it further established itself as a sustainable platform for international collaboration in culture, agriculture, and creative industries.

The success of this year’s event reaffirmed the growing enthusiasm for international festivals that seamlessly blend culinary experiences, entertainment, and cultural exchange in a single celebration.
