[INDONESIA] A Never-ending Night of Wonder at B.I’s L.O.L The Hidden Stage Asia Tour in Jakarta

B.I performed to his heart’s content and the fans’ delight on March 10, 2023 at Kasablanka Hall for his Jakarta stop of the L.O.L The Hidden Stage Asia Tour. Relive the most memorable moments of that night below!

Going From Zero to A Hundred

As the fans held their breath in anticipation, B.I entered the stage with his unique swagger to open the concert with his recent hit, BTBT. The first song was quickly followed up by performances of BE I and Waterfall, showcasing his incredible range in stage presence and musicality. Accompanied by flashing lights and even flashier dance moves, it took little to no time for B.I to remind his fans what they were there for.

The rest of the night’s setlist consisted of songs of various genres ranging from yearning love songs such as Lover and Tangerine to energetic bops like Endless summer and Flame. The crowd was left speechless with B.I’s command of the stage as he enthusiastically moved from one end to the other throughout the night.

A Man of Many Words

After getting the opening out of the way, B.I excitedly greeted the packed concert hall in English, which was met by enthusiastic waves and cheers back from the audience. It was his first time in Indonesia performing a solo concert so he sincerely hoped that Indonesian IDs would be able to enjoy themselves.

In the middle of the concert, B.I had surprised the Indonesian fans with local artist Afgan, who had collaborated with him on Lost at Sea (Illa Illa 2), appearing on stage as a special guest. They bantered on the stage for a bit before performing the song, talking about Indonesian food of which B.I enjoys rendang (a traditional Indonesian meat dish) and their collaboration process that did not involve them meeting in person at all.

B.I let his playful side show, stopping in the middle of his performance of NINETEEN when he spotted someone leaving the concert hall. He sat patiently for a few minutes as he waited for the fan to return and even jokingly asked the crowd for their opinions on if the fan would return at all. It was safe to say that he managed to show a bit of personality throughout the night that had the whole audience falling for him.

An Almost Endless Encore

At one point in the night, B.I had asked for the fans to behave in order for them to experience an encore at the end. To the fans’ delight, they hadn’t only gotten a regular encore consisting of performances of Then and Re-Birth, but an extended one with several additional songs.

Prior to the planned encore, Indonesian IDs had prepared a surprise video consisting of B.I’s journey and achievements, as well as their messages and wishes for him as he continues his career. B.I expressed his honest gratitude and shock before returning the gesture with the announcement of an album release soon, a few songs from which he ended up performing during the encore.

All in all, it was a night filled with great music and conversation with their idol, B.I that surely Indonesian IDs will never forget. We extend our sincerest thanks to Three Angles Production for the media invite!
