[INDONESIA] A Memorable Night at Lee Jae Wook ‘FIRST’ Fan Meeting in Jakarta

Despite this being his first time coming to Indonesia, Lee Jae Wook successfully left many memorable moments through his first fan meeting, Lee Jae Wook <FIRST> in Jakarta on February 25, 2023. Accompanied by his great performances, personality, and charm, it was certainly a beautiful night filled with laughter and happiness for everyone.

A Man of Many Talents 

Before the fan meeting even started, the fans were surprised by his sweet welcome message, which was met with cheers as he emphasized how long he had waited to meet them. He finally entered the stage in an all-white outfit and opened the fan meeting with his beautiful performance of Every day, Every Moment by Paul Kim.

He said that he was surprised by Indonesian fans’ energy even from the start, thankful that he could finally meet them through this fan meeting. Lee Jae Wook also mentioned that he felt really grateful for the fans who welcomed him in the airport when he arrived. Even though Indonesia is really far, he felt blessed to be coming here and wished to make many great memories with fans. Known for his various talents, Lee Jae Wook not only sang one song for Izzimo, but also performed HYUKOH’s TOMBOY at the end of the fan meeting.

In Love with His Charm

During the TMI session, Lee Jae Wook had fun teasing and playing along with fans’ reactions, and sharing his love for traveling lately and desire to visit many places.

The fans were also able to witness his excitement in answering their questions during the Q&A session, from what type of person he is to what types of women he would be attracted to. Everyone witnessed how charming and warm his personality was as he joked along with the host and fans, feeling that much closer to him because of it. 

From polaroid photos to Alchemy of Souls’ OST album, throughout the night, Lee Jae Wook also showed his kindness by sharing precious gifts. The gift giving started off with five lucky fans who were able to receive the famous four leaf clover as a present. Not stopping there, he even gave one fan his personal hat that he wore most of the time.

Shines Through His Love for Acting

Known for his amazing range of acting, Lee Jae Wook also talked about his previous drama project, Alchemy of Souls. Playing a game to guess the fans’ favorite scene, he managed to get it right by choosing the kiss scene with his co-star, Go Yoon Jung. He also shyly admitted that it was his favorite scene from the second season of the drama.

Lee Jae Wook shared his experience during the drama shoot and how he felt grateful for the love he received during the airing of the drama. When asked about what times made him happiest, he sweetly answered that it was when the actors finished filming without anyone getting hurt. 

Talking about his previous projects during the TMI session, fans were also able to share their stories of how they found out about and fell in love with Jae Wook. Most of them mentioned his previous dramas including Extraordinary You and Search: WWW. After playing a strong role on Alchemy of Souls, he said he wanted to try a role in a film or drama with the noir genre in his next project.

Warm Night Full of Surprises

Not only did he share laughter with fans, Lee Jae Wook also gave them a small surprise by walking around the entire seating area to greet them more closely. Entering the hall in a green jacket that emphasized his charismatic appearance, Lee Jae Wook managed to make the crowd cheer because of this unexpected gift.

Adding to the special night, Indonesian Izzimo prepared their own surprise for their beloved actor.  To Lee Jae Wook’s surprise, they had prepared a fan project video filled with his career and journey highlights accompanied by the messages his fans wanted to convey to him.

Lee Jae Wook felt touched since it was his first time receiving this kind of video prepared by his fans. He said that he could really feel their love and that he would always remember it, asking Indonesian fans to wait for his return.

After expressing his gratitude and asking fans to stay by his side, Lee Jae Wook finally said goodbye by waving cutely to his fans. They were also able to send him off one by one during a ‘goodbye’ session as they left the hall.
