The multi-talented soloist from EDAM Entertainment, WOODZ, finally greeted fans in Indonesia for the first time ever on June 3, 2023 at The Kasablanka Hall. Although this was his first time performing in Indonesia, he managed to give MOODZ a series of performances they would never forget!
The Loudest Cheers From the Start
From the moment MOODZ entered, excited cheers filled the venue. As they waited for the concert to begin, they sang Journey alongside the band’s instrumentals. The loudest cheers erupted when WOODZ finally made his appearance wearing a charismatic red suit.
WOODZ kicked off the concert with his hit song BUSTED, followed by HIJACK and the famous bop Love Me Harder. MOODZ responded to the stages with amazing chants and hyped up their favorite artist every chance they had. After the wonderful opening, WOODZ gave his greeting and even talked with the fans before continuing the stages with performances of WAITING and Chaser!
A Blissful Moment with MOODZ
The concert continued after an outfit change in a casual white t-shirt and red hat. He then went on to perform Who Knows, Dirt on my leather, and Trigger, making the fans go crazy!
Right after the performances, he briefly introduced his band members and interacted with the fans. WOODZ then continued the show with a more chill vibe and cutely covered Hype Boy by NewJeans. He also surprised Indonesian MOODZ with a cover of Cantik by Kahitna.
After the covers, he took the chance to interact with MOODZ related to the fanmade banners they were holding and also fulfilled some of their wishes. The artist then continued with beautiful performances of Multiply and ABYSS, which captured the hearts of fans that night.
Unrivaled Vocals and Stage Presence
WOODZ set the energy high by performing Kiss of fire and FEEL LIKE to hype up the crowd even further, followed by fan favorite On my own that had the fans singing along with him.
His impressive vocals and stage presence didn’t stop there as he performed Sour Candy, BUMP BUMP, and the long-awaited stage of his latest hit, Drowning. He then performed his last title track, Journey, before starting the encore.
The Encore We Weren’t Ready For
WOODZ came back on stage and started the encore segment with I hate you, followed by Better and better.
But to his surprise, Indonesian MOODZ had already prepared a fan project, which left WOODZ speechless. He even jokingly said that he thought the system had been hacked! WOODZ expressed his gratitude, said he felt really touched, and thanked fans for preparing this gift for him.
It was then time to snap a photo together with fans, and after WOODZ gave his final performance of the night with Ready to fight. It was indeed a night to remember and we’re looking forward to WOODZ’s next visit to Jakarta already!
