[INDONESIA] 5 Songs From DAY6 ‘Gravity’ in Jakarta Setlist That We Wish Have An Official Video

DAY6 just finished their ‘Gravity‘ tour in Jakarta on Dec 1, 2019 with tremendous success. Attracting thousands of My Days for a two-day concert is concrete proof of DAY6’s growing popularity in Indonesia

There are countless reasons to become a fan of the superband, and one of them is definitely their relatable lyrics that touch many of us right in the feels! Whether it’s their sad ballad songs, energetic rock songs, or just songs about daily life, we definitely relate well to the lyrics in their songs. Sometimes we wish DAY6 would release more video content in order to compliment the song and reach a greater audience. Because their songs are gold and they truly deserve all the love.

Here are our top five songs that we wish would have an official MV, live performance video, or… just any video!

1. Best Part

DAY6 picked this song for the opening of their ‘Gravity’ concert, and it was the best decision ever! The instruments, the stage lightings, and DAY6’s own stage presence worked so well together. And not to mention the meaning of the song, “Every day that is given to me is gonna be my Best Part‘. There is not a single moment that is meaningless“. My Days, let’s all be thankful for the life we’re living everyday!

2. Somehow

Did Young K take ‘heartbreak songwriting‘ as his specialised major in college? Because he’s an expert in it! ‘Somehow‘ tells a story of getting over someone. Although the lyrics of this song are sad, DAY6 performed so powerfully at the concert that no one would have ever thought they were singing about post-breakup pains.

3. Colors

This song goes a long way back. Initially released in their first mini-album ‘The Day‘, DAY6 recorded a final version of ‘Colors‘ and included it in their ‘Shoot Me‘ album. The rock ballad song brings special memories to My Days and imagine if there was a concert version video of this song: the calm atmosphere that is so overwhelming, and My Days harmoniously singing along to it. Just so beautiful!

4. Warning

The mysterious blood red lights during the concert were enough to pull us in! Add in the banging melodies and the constant ‘Warning‘ that convinced we’re in real danger. This song would be well-suited to be included in an action movie soundtrack, where the heroine is seen speeding to catch the criminal and shouting, “You gotta stop now!“.

5. My Day

That’s it, that’s the reason. Because it’s ‘My Day‘. It is that sweet fan-dedicated song that My Days deserve. We need no fancy video, just DAY6 behaving casually, looking earnestly at the camera while singing “Oh you are my day“. Let’s count how many of us would survive then, hmm.

We might or might not have this wish granted. But we can always hope, right?

In conclusion, we’ve finally realized DAY6’s only weakness: They can’t make a bad song. Well, we’re not complaining for that 😉
