Webtoon Drawing Show with Webtoonist Lee Ji-Eun!
The next highlight of the event was the Drawing Show and Mini Fan-meeting with Lee Ji-Eun, a well-known webtoonist from the webtoon series, ‘Pacar si Otaku’. Bringing her drawing skills to the stage, she demonstrated how to draw characters and color them. She made everyone stay attentive up until the drawing on the screen was completed. Ji-Eun did not just captivate us with her drawing skills but also being friendly! She allowed fans who won a chance at the fan-signing event to take pictures with her.
Let’s ‘Runaway’ with IN2IT!
Of course, for many, the main highlight of the K-Content Expo 2019 was the Mini Concert and Fan-meeting with K-Pop boy group IN2IT ( Inpyo, Jiahn, Yeontae, Inho, Hyunuk, and Isaac). Fans of all ages crowded Tribeca Park just to catch a glimpse of their favorite idols on stage. IN2IT opened their performance with the song ‘Amazing’. The fans started to cheer loudly to express how much they have waited for the boys since morning.
Right after ‘Amazing’, the boys started to greet the fans with a short talk segment. They did it in Korean along with a little bit of Bahasa Indonesian phrases like ‘Selamat Malam (Good Evening)‘ and ‘Aku Cinta Kamu (I Love You)‘. Everyone cheered at the top of their lungs when Isaac began his introducing by saying ‘Selamat Malam Putriku’ which means ‘good evening my princesses’ in Indonesian.
IN2IT did not miss the chance to make the venue even more hyped up by performing ‘Snapshot’ immediately followed by ‘Sorry For My English’. The boys showed us their great vocal and dance skills that made everyone sing along to these performances.
For the second talk segment, IN2IT talked about their favorite Indonesian food. All members agreed that their favorite Indonesian food is Nasi Goreng. But members also mentioned Sate Ayam, Mie Goreng, and Rendang. Hyunuk said because all the members love Indonesian food
so much, they ordered many Indonesian foods during their stay.
The boys were also undeniably entertaining with their fan-service, never failing to make the audience cheer in delight and excitement. One of the most memorable moments was when the members start to come down from the stage to be closer to the fans. They even took a photo with some lucky fans!
As IN2IT sang their song ‘Runaway’ and ‘2U’, the Mini Concert was coming closer to the end. The members each showed their gratitude and thanked Indonesian IN2U for waiting a long time to see IN2IT.
IN2IT soon came back for their fan-signing event with lucky fans who won the fan-signing pass. Throughout the fan-signing event, IN2IT effortlessly turned the venue into a warm fan-meeting. Towards the end, the crowd was reluctant to leave the venue and continued to cheer for the group. The boys remained smiling and happy as they finally bid goodbye to the fans. IN2IT also hinted at the possibility they will come back to Indonesia for a concert! We hope we can see them again really soon!
We would like to thank KOCCA Indonesia for the media invite!
