Hwang Minhyun made his idol debut as a NU’EST member when he was just 17. Famous for his tall and handsome prince-like visuals, he rose to popularity after being voted in as a member of Wanna One.

The Singer Persona

As the lead vocalist in his group, Minhyun’s voice is very strong and distinctive. His sweet vocals can be heard on his first digital single, ‘Universe (별의 언어)’.

Written by Minhyun himself, ‘Universe’ tells the story of a man abandoned by a lover. The MV really highlights Minhyun’s acting skills as a man abandoned by his girlfriend.

The Musical Actor Persona

Looking at his power of voice and acting skills in the music video for ‘Universe’, it’s no wonder Minhyun was casted for the musical ‘Marie Antoniette‘.

Taking on the role of Count Axel Von Fersen, Minhyun showed off both his acting and vocal skills at the same time.

The Model Persona

Minhyun has graced the cover of countless magazines. He has also posed for many fashion magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Esquire, ELLE and many more.

One of his highest achievements as a model was chosen as the Korean Ambassador for luxury fashion brand Moncler. He is the first Korean male celebrity invited to attend the Moncler show at Milan Fashion Week.

The CF King Persona

In the last two years, Minhyun has starred in at least five commercial advertisements. Besides being Moncler’s Korean Ambassador, he has also done commercials for well-known brands such as Innisfree and MAC Cosmetics.

Recently, Minhyun was chosen as the face of London-based fragrance brand Jo Malone for the spring ‘Brit Collection‘.

The Actor Persona

Minhyun will debut as an actor in his first drama series ‘Live On‘. The drama is set to air on the JTBC in the second half of 2020.
