[SINGAPORE] WOODZ Turns The Stage Into A ‘Cinema’ on His ‘Archive. 1’ Tour

For the first time since his debut, WOODZ met Singapore MOODZ at the 2026 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘Archive. 1’ in SINGAPORE on 2 April 2026 at The Theatre at MediaCorp.

Opening the night with Blood Line, WOODZ wasted no time in setting the tone, delivering a commanding performance backed by his live band; drummer Seo Ju Young, bassist Yang Kyung Ah, guitarist Kim Ho Hyun, and keyboardist Kim Dong Min. The presence of a full band added depth to the set, allowing his sound to come across as both dynamic and immersive. Fans also gave resounding cheers when WOODZ introduced Yang Kyung Ah, leading him to jokingly ask the crowd if they were there to see him or her.

Throughout the show, WOODZ effortlessly kept interactions light and engaging, incorporating bits of Singlish and frequently complimenting fans with the Malay word bagus, each time they were able to singalong to his songs. Comfortable with and speaking in fluent English, likely from his childhood experiences of living abroad, he communicated effortlessly with the crowd without the need of a translator, making each ment feel natural and unforced.

Promising to give everything until the end, WOODZ delivered a well-paced set that moved seamlessly between high-energy performances and more emotional tracks. Even as he transitioned into sentimental moments, he kept the mood balanced with lighthearted jokes, playfully reacting when fans urged him not to cry.

The highlight of the night came with Drowning and Cinema, which WOODZ shared were intended to be connected, with Cinema as the sequel to Drowning. Inviting fans to a singalong session, he turned the segment into a precious shared moment, later praising the crowd with a proud “Singapore slay!”.

WOODZ also prepared a surprise specially for Singapore MOODZ, performing a cover of the reknowned local artiste JJ Lin’s Twilight. Taking on the technically challenging Mandarin track, WOODZ delivered it with confidence and accurate pronunciation, earning enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

As it was his first time in Singapore, WOODZ repeatedly shared that he wanted to present his most authentic self, adding that he had carefully prepared and curated every aspect of the show. It was proof that any talented artiste’s artistry can shine as long as effort was put into the show, and WOODZ also had a whale of his time on stage. His sincerity extended beyond himself as a performer, as he reminded fans to have regular meals, endearingly using another Malay word makan, and to stay healthy.

The atmosphere remained warm and playful throughout the night. When WOODZ asked how many in the audience had attended his Incheon show, some fans responded that they could not due to financial reasons, prompting laughter from both WOODZ and the crowd.

Returning for the encore in a casual zip-up hoodie, WOODZ lingered on stage, repeatedly singing Stray as he hesitated to bring the night to a close. His reluctance to leave reflected the connection built with MOODZ over the course of the concert.

From start to finish, the night showcased not only WOODZ’s versatility as a performer, but also his ability to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. For his long-awaited first meeting with Singapore MOODZ, it was a concert that felt both polished and personal, one that left fans with a memorable first impression.
