[MALAYSIA] K-Pop Star B.I Attends NIVEA Derma Control Launch in Kuala Lumpur (Including Exclusive Interview!)

Well-known K-pop rapper and songwriter B.I made a special appearance at the NIVEA Derma Control Deodorant Pickleball Festival on September 1, 2025, at Sunway Pyramid, Malaysia. The event celebrated NIVEA’s latest innovation product, the Derma Control deodorant, and also featured appearances by other invited local artists.

“NIVEA is The Best!”

As the face of NIVEA, he spoke about his journey as an artist and shared personal hygiene tips on how he stays fresh and clean, especially when performing on stage.

“As an artist, taking care of my lifestyle and self-care is very important especially in both physically and mentally well-being. Also, I am currently on my Asia tour concert, hence adding NIVEA Derma Control Defend to my personal hygiene soon will surely come in handy to make sure I am looking fresh on stage,”

B.I also mentioned that NIVEA Derma Control deodorant product contained skincare-infused formula like Micro Hyaluron which designed to stregthen the skin’s natural barrier while restoring, brightening, soothing and also nourishing sensitive underarm skin.

“Saya guna NIVEA!” (I use NIVEA!) chanted B.I proudly. His love for NIVEA products is undeniable, as the artist himself was seen to use them in his daily routine, making he is the perfect ambassador for the brand.

The Seoul Story had the special opportunity to interview B.I in person, and we were delighted to ask him a few questions!

Q: Which word describes you the best? Fresh, confident or carefree?

He answered, “I think ‘Refreshing’ would be the best word to describe this moment, but I think a word that best describes me is actually ‘Carefree’!”

Q: How do you balance between being a gentle character off-stage while projecting confidence and presence during a performance?

“I am more to a calm, quiet person but when I’m on stage, I have to hype up the stage by myself and make sure the attendees are having fun and that is why I am trying my best by showing energetic side of me,” said B.I.
