[MALAYSIA] BABYMONSTER Ignites the Stage in Malaysia with Their 1st World Tour ‘HELLO MONSTERS’

YG Entertainment’s new girl group sensation, BABYMONSTER took Kuala Lumpur by storm during the ‘2025 BABYMONSTER 1st World Tour <HELLO MONSTERS> in KUALA LUMPUR’ held at Axiata Arena on Saturday, June 21, 2025! This highly anticipated event was particularly meaningful for Malaysian MONSTIEZ (the group’s fandom name), marking BABYMONSTER’s first visit to the country and making dreams come true for fans who had long awaited the chance to see them live.


Hello MONSTIEZ!

The group opened the concert with a powerful performance of their recent title track DRIP, followed by their explosive debut single Batter Up. The girls then introduced themselves warmly to the crowd, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support and promising a night full of unforgettable memories. 

With swagger and charisma, the intro to their b-side hit CLIK CLAK sent the arena into a frenzy. Fans erupted as the girls showcased their rap skills, staying true to their YG roots. Coming closer to the extended stage, they performed another hit full english song LIKE THAT and SHEESH, keeping the momentum high and the crowd on their feet.


Girls Shine on Their Own

Even before their official debut , YG Entertainment strategically introduced each member’s talents through individual performance videos via YouTube. Not a surprise if they gained millions of attention as every 7 members shine in their own uniqueness. There is a back story of this group being given a song from Charlie Puth when his song Dangerously went viral as Ahyeon did a cover and it hit millions of views.

Like stepping right out of a screen, the solo stages began with vocalists RORA, captivating everyone with Someone You Loved following by PHARITA, who delivered a heartfelt performance of What Other People Say.

Next, the rap line took over. ASA lit up the stage with her jaw-dropping cover of Godzilla, flowing with ease and confidence, before handing it over to RUKA, who brought the heat with Gwola. The iconic Japanese duo then teamed up for Woke Up In Tokyo, a song they co-wrote and further showcased their musical versatility and lyrical skill.

CHIQUITA, the group’s youngest member, successfully delivered traitor, a song full of heartbroken emotion and the last performer which everyone’s been waiting for, AHYEON with her 24 million views of record, Dangerously and left the crowd in awe.


Special Covers & Surprises

The girls then performed Love, Maybe and DREAM before appearing back on stage with new outfits. Professionalism at its peak as they can quickly change their aura from sexy to cute girls as they performed Billionaire and Really Like You.

Just when fans thought the surprises were over, BABYMONSTER thrilled the audience with a BLACKPINK tribute segment covering Kill This Love and As If It’s Your Last with confident swagger, truly making the iconic songs their own.

With a heavy heart, they sang to their last two songs prepared for the show, FOREVER and Love in My Heart bidding a heartfelt farewell to their beloved MONSTIEZ.


A Remixed Finale

As chants for an encore echoed through the arena, BABYMONSTER returned to the stage with remixed versions of their hit songs including SHEESH, Batter Up (Remix), DRIP, FOREVER, and Stuck in the Middle (Remix). Knowing the night was coming to an end, the members made the most of every moment by running across the stage, waving, and interacting with fans in every corner, visibly touched by the love and support they’ve received since their pre-debut days.

The two-hour concert flew by in the blink of an eye, leaving fans with unforgettable memories and a shared hope that BABYMONSTER will return to Malaysia again very soon.
