February 8, 2025, was a night to remember for Jakarta’s KYUpiters as KYUHYUN 10th Anniversary Asia Tour [COLORS] graced the city. The event celebrated a decade of musical milestones for the Super Junior member, whose journey as a solo artist has been nothing short of remarkable. It was a night to honor his journey, as Kyuhyun showed his true colors throughout his decade as a soloist, once again proving that he is one of the best performers in the industry.
The concert kicked off with a fresh start as Kyuhyun performed the title track, Restart, from his mini album released last year. The opening song quickly set the crowd on a high energy. Kyuhyun, who last went to Indonesia for the 2024 SUPER JUNIOR (SUPER SHOW SPIN-OFF : Halftime) in Jakarta back in September last year, then proceeded to express his longing to the fans, saying, “Ayang, aku kangen,” (Dear, I missed you) in Indonesian. He also revealed that he was surprised to hear how loud the fans cheered for him and encouraged them to keep the spirit alive until the end of the show.

He continued the show with Together, Journey, and Last Poem, before moving into the OST section, where he performed two of his most beloved tracks. First, he sang Confession is Not Flashy, the romantic anthem from the hit K-Drama Dr. Romantic. He then performed Still Our Love Continue, a duet originally sung with Apink’s Jeong Eunji. However, this time, he invited KYUpiters to sing her part. Following the performances, Kyuhyun praised the fans’ beautiful voices and playfully wondered if all the fans were Korean, as their pronunciation was so flawless.
Kyuhyun then shared that he had recently uploaded an Indonesian song cover on his YouTube channel, titled Jiwa yang Bersedih. He revealed that he would be singing the song live for the first time and asked fans to keep it a secret in case he made a mistake. Yet, he confidently declared that he would not—and he did not! The performance was perfect, made even more special by the surprise appearance of the original singer, Ghea Indrawari. Their duet created a beautiful harmony that left the fans in awe. Kyuhyun also learned a new, trending Indonesian phrase from Ghea: “Ubur-ubur, ikan lele. Saranghae le,” which he used to express his love for fans in the wittiest way.

Just when KYUpiters thought the surprise was over, Kyuhyun had another one up his sleeve. He stepped down from the stage and performed Time With You and Flying, deep in the night, coming closer to the fans to greet them personally. His heartfelt performance was a beautiful gesture of affection for the fans who have always supported him. This special moment undoubtedly made the concert even more unforgettable for every KYUpiter present.
After a series of melancholic performances, the mood took a sudden shift as Kyuhyun brought the energy up with a bunch of dance songs. He started with his own track Bring It On, followed by a medley of his solo versions of iconic Super Junior songs, U, SORRY SORRY, Devil, and SUPER Clap. At the end of the segment, Kyuhyun revealed that he had especially collaborated with an Indonesian dance team for these performances and sincerely thanked them for their dedication and hard work.

The next song, Horizon, was a song that contained Kyuhyun’s genuine feelings for KYUpiters. After the intense energy of the previous performances, he lightheartedly joked that his sweat was a symbol of his love for the fans, which made everyone laugh. Knowing how much Indonesian fans love to sing along, Kyuhyun shared the spotlight with KYUpiters in attendance by playing a karaoke version of his solo debut song, At Gwanghwamun. The audience was more than happy to fill the hall with their beautiful voices, and soon after, Kyuhyun returned to join them on stage, singing the song together with KYUpiters.
Just before the night came to a close, Kyuhyun had yet another surprise. He performed Sisa Rasa, an Indonesian song originally by Mahalini, and touched the hearts of the audience with his soulful rendition. He then wrapped up the night with his song Wishes, leaving a sweet and lasting memory for all.
