Glass Man magazine is delighted to announce that Mark Tuan, Chinese American multi hyphenate musician, as the cover of the spring issue – available worldwide from 24 March 2022.
Best known for his time in South Korean K-pop group, GOT7, the singer made the natural, almost seamless, decision to go solo at the beginning of this year. With two singles, Last Breath and My Life, already causing triumphant waves of recognition across the industry, this new chapter of his career is already shaping out to rival his success with GOT7.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mark moved to South Korea in 2010 to train under JYP Entertainment before being announced as a member of GOT7 in 2014. Tuan’s life rendered itself away from any form of normality as a direct consequence. Joining the group on a world tour that lasted seven years, releasing an applaudable discography to a legion of fans, and selling millions of copies worldwide cemented GOT7’s legacy as one of the most successful K-Pop groups in history.
Speaking to Glass Man in the spring issue, the multifaceted individual reflects on this lifestyle change. “I don’t think I will ever adjust to the lifestyle. I think the hardest moment was knowing that everyone was always watching me and having to constantly be perfect”. Though the fame may not be fading, with equal pressures applying to a solo career, the overwhelming support has not gone unnoticed, “My fans, family, and friends gave me the confidence and motivation to pursue my solo career” says Tuan.
