[SINGAPORE] WINNER Brings Joy to Fans at EVERYWHERE Tour

Last Saturday, the four amazing members of WINNER paid fans in Singapore a visit and no doubt, Inner Circles (WINNER’s fan club name) had a great time that night! The boys’ joyous laughter and fun interactions with fans had everyone leaving the venue in great spirits by the at the end of the concert. WINNER, a group consisting of four members; Kim Jinwoo, Kang Seungyoon, Lee Seunghoon and Song Mino, certainly left an impression with their explosive stage performances.

Cheeky, Fun and Amazing Performers
WINNER certainly brought the house down from the moment they started singing on the big stage. Fans were already holding up their lightsticks in awe as the boys appeared for the first time, before the entire venue erupted into cheers.

They performed two songs, ‘Empty’ and ‘Air’, before their official introductions. WINNER then had the crowd dancing in their seats with ‘Hello’ and ‘Everyday’!

Seungyoon then chatted for a while with the audience, recounting an experience from when he went to visit the Singapore Flyer. The Singapore Flyer is a large ferris wheel consisting of exclusively-designed capsules. He said that they went to the flyer but unfortunately, they ended up being unable to ride it because it was too late at night and the ride was officially closed! Alas, they only managed to take a photo in front of the flyer.

Solo Stages Galore
The talented members of WINNER not only performed as a group, but also individually to showcase their wonderful skills.

Mino performed his own songs, ‘Body’ and ‘Turn Off the Lights’! His sexy stage had fans swooning, especially when he took off his shirt. Jinwoo covered G-Dragon’s ‘Untitled, 2014’, his sweet serenade capturing the hearts of Inner Circles. Seungyoon turned the mood around as he rocked it out with ‘It Rains’. However, tunred out that he had another surprise in store for fans in Singapore!

When he broke out into Troye Sivan’s ‘Youth’, everyone cheered loudly, and sang along to the familiar song. His husky and raw voice was the only thing you could hear at the venue, aside from the voices of fans who were singing along.

Seungyoon then took off his jacket to reveal a tank top underneath. He shouted, “Everybody, sexy vibes!”, before breaking into another slow rock song, this time with a guitar in hand. He performed ‘Instinctively’, which had the crowd holding their hands up in the air and moving them to the beat of the song.

Last but not least was Seunghoon, who had everyone bopping their heads and shaking their shoulders in their seats as he performed ‘Serenade’ and ‘Ringa Linga’. There was probably not a single soul in sight who did not sing together with Seunghoon when he covered Big Bang’s iconic song!

WINNER shows some LOVE
The members of WINNER continued with more songs such as ‘We Were’, ‘For’ and ‘Raining’. ‘Movie Star’ was especially interesting, with fans switching on their phones’ flashlights. Seungyoon commented that he did see fans attempting to create a “W” shape with their light. It was cute to see him acknowledging Inner Circles’ hard work and effort put into the project!

A VCR was played, introducing the next song WINNER was going to perform, which was ‘Immature’. It was great to see how far these boys have come, and the fans certainly felt it!

After the performance, Seungyoon urged Mino to “show everyone his love”. At the request, Mino turned to have the audience face his back, attempting to pull out something from the pocket of his trousers. When he finally faced everyone, he showed what he had pulled out, which was his fingers shaped into a heart. He did that a few more times, making fans scream with delight while his members looked on in agony.

Jinwoo made kissy faces to the camera and showed off his Singlish. He continuously said, “I love la! I love you la!”. Everyone appreciated his attempt at incorporating Singlish into his speech, clapping and cheering.

They then performed “Love Me Love Me”, “Special Night”, “Island”, “Really Really”, “La La” and “Don’t Flirt”.

Seungyoon promised fans that WINNER will be coming back with a new album soon, while Seunghoon coined a new name for Singapore Inner Circles which is… “SingaCircles”! Everyone couldn’t stop laughing at the cute name he had bestowed fans!

The show ended after WINNER performed a remix of ‘Everyday’ but fans still felt like they could endure another one hour of their favourites performing and having fun on the stage! 😛
