Started in 2013, Korea Indonesia Film Festival (KIFF) has become an annual film festival in Indonesia. As a form of appreciation & cultural exchange between South Korea and Indonesia‘s cinema, KIFF is an event presented to film lovers in Indonesia.
Organised by Korea Cultural Centre Indonesia (KCCI) in collaboration with CGV Cinemas, this annual event will take place from 18-21 October 2018. Four cities in Indonesia have become home grounds for this event and they are, Jakarta (Grand Indonesia), Palembang (Social Market), Yogyakarta (J-Walk) and Makassar (Daya Grand Square).
During the four-days festival, KIFF will present a total 0f 19 movies with a variety of genres. There will be a couple of films that will be screened to the public for the first time during this event as well!

- Magic Flute (Seoul Arts Center)
- The Accidental Detective (CJ Entertainment/CBI Pictures)
- The Accidental Detective 2: In Action (CJ Entertainment)
- The Battleship Island (CJ Entertainment/CBI Pictures)
- The Negotiation (CJ Entertainment/CBI Pictures)
- The Princess and The Matchmaker (CJ Entertainment/CBI Pictures)

The opening ceremony for the event will be held on 18 October 2018 at CGV Grand Indonesia. Iqbaal Ramadhan, the main actor of ‘Dilan 1990′, will be the guest star and to officially launch the festival. Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin‘s movie ‘The Negotiation’ will also be shown during the opening ceremony.
