[SINGAPORE] What’s Brewing? Eric Nam Warms Our Hearts For dal.komm COFFEE’s First Anniversary in Singapore

Fans of solo artiste Eric Nam were in for a treat last Saturday when the singer visited Singapore to grace dal.komm COFFEE’s first year anniversary celebrations as a special guest. The celebrations included a mini showcase held at the Marina Square atrium, complete with a fan-sign and photo-taking opportunities with Eric himself!

Prior to the event, true to his Nation’s Boyfriend title, Eric made a special detour to the departure halls of Changi Airport Terminal 3 for fans who were waiting for him. He even took a wefie with them and posted them on his Instagram story! ❤

Before the showcase, a press conference was held at dal.komm COFFEE’s Marina Square outlet. Despite the late night flight, Eric was all smiles and greeted everyone warmly. He also paid great attention to the questions posed to him, answering them candidly yet with a lot of thought.

Having released his latest album “Honestly” just last month, fans were all curious as to which song off the album was his favorite. Eric said that he listens to “This Is Not A Love Song” most frequently out of all the songs lately! He even revealed that the song nearly did not make it on the album because his label thought it would be better off as a single instead.

Wondering which type of coffee Eric would describe himself with? The answer is a shot of espresso! His reason being, he wants to see himself as a musician who is able to do different genres and not limit himself, much like how espresso shots are used as main ingredients for other types of coffees. (P.S. dal.komm COFFEE offers three different blends of coffee beans for a customizable cuppa to suit your palate!)

Eric also tried the coffee chain’s limited edition Coconut Coffee Mixtur – a coconut flavoured ice blended drink topped with two shots of espresso. Upon trying it, he declared it was delicious! The richly flavoured drink was launched in conjunction with dal.komm COFFEE’s first anniversary celebrations and is part of the new summer menu.

Following the press conference, Eric held a public mini showcase at Marina Square’s atrium where he performed his most recent title track “Honestly”.  He also serenaded the crowd with his version of “Beautiful”, a track from the wildly popular drama Goblin. Despite it being announced that only two songs would be performed, Eric went on to sing an additional two more songs for his fans! He went on to sing “Good For You” and concluded with the fun and upbeat “Can’t Help Myself”, before proceeding on to a fan-sign and photo-taking session with lucky winners selected prior to the event. Proving his charm and charisma, Eric’s sweet, honey-like vocals even attracted members of the public to stop their shopping and watch him perform.

Fans of dal.komm COFFEE can head down to the coffee joint’s two outlets at The Centrepoint or Marina Square to try their new seasonal menu items.

Other than the Coconut Coffee Mixtur mentioned earlier, the summer menu also includes the Summer Berry Mixtur – a delightful ice-blended drink made of mixed berries and yoghurt; and the Pina Kolada – a lovely mix of pineapple and coconut juice topped off with creamy coconut foam. For some cheesy and eggy goodness, there is the Carbonara Pizza and Croque Madame to fill your stomachs! To satisfy your sweet tooth, do try out the new Strawberry Royal Milk Tea bingsu which is covered generously in caramelized biscuits and garnished with cheesecake pieces and a juicy strawberry on the top. Yummylicious isn’t? 🙂

It was a great time spent with Eric Nam and we’d like to extend our thanks to dal.komm COFFEE for inviting us to be part of their first year anniversary celebrations. The Seoul Story wishes you many more fruitful years ahead! 😀
