SHINE bright like a diamond! Since 2005, the National Youth Council (NYC) has been snazzing up the events calendar during the ‘Youth Month’ of July with the SHINE Festival. The Festival is the annual high-point celebration of youths nationwide, showcasing their talents, promoting talent development and highlighting inspiring youth leaders and role-models. This year’s theme is the inspiring #YourNextStage, where youths are encouraged to cultivate their individual interest and passion, create partnerships to pursue their goals, and expand on their talents to make a positive impact within the community.
Multi-talented artiste Jay Park will headline the stellar lineup performing at the official launch of SHINE Festival 2016, which includes local talent such as rapper Shigga Shay and singer-songwriter Gentle Bones.
