[SINGAPORE] Fans get their adrenaline pumping on Day 2 of HallyuPopFest

Anticipation can be felt in the air as Day 2 arrived. An entirely new line-up of artistes awaited fans on that Sunday. The previous day had made everyone wonder about the concert that they would be enjoying that night. Fans were all geared up to meet (G)I-DLE, KARD, PENTAGON, MONSTA X and Super Junior! Whether or not you were there for the festivities, do continue to read about the highlights of the spectacular evening concert which happened on Day 2 of HallyuPopFest!

(G)I-DLE

(G)I-DLE was the first group to perform for the night, getting everyone all hyped up with “Senorita”. The group consists of Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua, who lit up the night with their amazing dance moves and stable vocals. They continued the show with “Maze”, “Blow Your Mind” and “Give Me Your”. Of course, the fan chants were especially louder during “Hann” and “Latata”. Being the group’s debut single, “Latata”, didn’t fail to get everyone to sing along with the beautiful ladies on the stage!

KARD

Co-ed group KARD, stunned everyone with their presence as they appeared onstage. From the moment the starting notes of “Oh Nana” filled the stadium, fans were all ready to wave their lightsticks in the air. KARD; consisting of J.Seph, BM, Somin, and Jiwoo, performed “Don’t Recall”, “You In Me” and “Ride On The Wind” next. The crowd went even wilder when KARD danced to “Hola Hola” and “Bomb Bomb” afterwards. “Hola Hola” is KARD’s official debut title track, while “Bomb Bomb” is the group’s latest comeback song to date. Both tracks were highly anticipated by Hidden KARDs who had been looking forward to those songs!

PENTAGON

PENTAGON consists of members Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino and Wooseok. The nine men kicked off their set with “Sha La La”, followed by “Runaway” and “Violet”. “Critical Beauty” and “Naughty Boy” brought smiles to everyone’s faces with their fun and cheerful tunes.

“Shine” was the song which had everyone singing along. Fans would have danced along with PENTAGON if they could! “Shine” has got to be one of PENTAGON’s popular songs, with its catchy beat and iconic choreography during the chorus.

MONSTA X

MONSTA X took the stage next with “Jealousy“, the group’s aura burning up the atmosphere in the stadium. The group consists of members Shownu, Wonho, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. The song they performed afterwards was “Play It Cool”. This song has an English version, in which MONSTA X collaborated with Steve Aoki.

Among the songs performed by MONSTA X were “From Zero”, “Need U”, “Party Time” and “Dramarama”. The last song for the set, “Alligator”, was a song which made everyone cheer even louder. There was no doubt that Monbebes had fun with MONSTA X.

SUPER JUNIOR

Super Junior has got to be the most legendary group to have made an appearance during these two days of Hallyu pop fever. After making their presence known with a rock remix of “Sorry Sorry”, the Super Junior members entertained everyone with a remix of “Bonamana”

Super Junior then moved on to perform “One More Chance” before surprising everyone in the stadium with solo stages! Yesung didn’t fail to steal everyone’s hearts with “It Has To Be You”, a song which was really popular back when it was first released as an original soundtrack for the Korean drama “Cinderella’s Stepsister”. Ryeowook took over the stage with “Drunk In The Morning”, wooing the audience with his sweet voice. Super Junior D&E continued from where he left off with “‘Bout You”, sending ELFs into a frenzy with their skinship and cheeky moves!

Super Junior then hinted about the possibility of a comeback, which had fans gasping and chattering among themselves in excitement! Unfortunately, everything had to come to an end. Shortly after Super Junior performed their final song, “Miracle”,  their set ended.

All of the artistes appeared once again on the stage at the end of the show, bidding everyone goodbye. It was truly the end of the concert, and it also marked the end of the two days of amazing interactions and performances by these talented stars.

Once again, we would like to thank HallyuPopFest for granting us the opportunity to cover both event days! 🙂 Do check out our Facebook page for Day 2 Red Carpet photos!
