Korean boygroup OFFROAD has arrived in Manila to hold their very first fanmeeting in the country. After debuting in Korea and spreading their name out in Japan, they are now ready to conquer their Filipino fans’ hearts!

Upon arriving at the press conference, Harang, Rio, Habin, Kino, and Daewon admitted that they were surprised when they were informed that they’ll be coming to Manila. Excitement overtook their emotions as they weren’t really expecting to have several schedules in the country let alone a fanmeet as well. The boys also shared that really want to try a lot of things such as eat Filipino delicacies (e.g. balot), and hopefully go to some beaches specifically Boracay since they’ve heard a lot of K-pop idols often visit the area.

OFFROAD was put to the test when they were asked if they know some Filipino artists or musicians. Rio immediately answered that although they don’t specifically know the names of the artists, they know a couple of Filipino songs. He then proceeded to sing the chorus of the song ‘Huwag Ka Nang Humirit’ by James Reid which earned such admiration form the media.

Aside from getting ready to meet their fans, they also shared that they are preparing to release a new album in the first few months of 2017. Although the title track is nearly done, they are still working on the music video and they’re hoping that fans will look forward to that.

Switching things to a lighter note, male idols such as BIGBANG, Se7en, EXO, Jay Park, and BEAST, and female idols such as Suzy, Twice, and Red Velvet, were mentioned as some of the artists that they admire these days.

Even though they are nervous when it comes to meeting their fans, the boys didn’t fail to show their energy and enthusiastic responses to the questions being asked. Leader Daewon even stretched and main dancer Habin danced to ‘Up And Down’ by EXID when asked about their pre-performance rituals.

Prior to their other schedules in Manila, OFFROAD also made an appearance at SM Clark, Pampanga last October 8 for the Korean Festival 2016.

Join them at their very first Manila fanmeeting at Korean Cultural Center K-Wave Hall this October 14, 2016. You can click HERE for the information on how to participate.
