[INDONESIA] A Beautiful Reunion With SEVENTEEN & CARATs at ‘Ideal Cut’ In Jakarta

After successfully holding Ideal Cut concerts in Seoul, Hong Kong and Saitama, self-producing idols SEVENTEEN finally made their way to Jakarta! S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino reunited with CARATs at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, last Sunday on September 16th, 2018!  💎

A Fulfilled Promise
During their Diamond Edge world tour in Jakarta last year, SEVENTEEN promised Indonesian CARATs they will return to Jakarta again. It was a promise well kept as they made their long-awaited return with stages that were very sweet and genuine, yet so powerful. Kicking off strong with ‘Highlight’ and ‘Thanks’, the boys earned very loud cheers from enthusiastic CARATs.

S.Coups, Jeonghan, Wonwoo, THE8, Seungkwan and Dino continued to deliver with ‘Flower’, with choreography created by Dino. Although it was only six of them, the cheers remained strong from the audience as they performed. The rest of the team joined them again to perform ‘NO F.U.N’ and ‘Chuck’ as they asked CARATs to scream even louder.

The boys started communicating with fans, saying they really missed Indonesian CARATs and asked if the feelings were mutual. One by one, they introduced themselves in Bahasa Indonesia. They proudly mentioned that they fulfilled their promise and DK especially shared his amazement at the exceptional welcome by CARATs.

Showcasing Each Potential
SEVENTEEN had fans rocking their head to ‘Run To You’ followed by a playful performance of ‘Beautiful’ where they moved to the front stage and stared lovingly at CARATs. The three leaders, S.Coups, Hoshi and Woozi then stole the spotlight with ‘Change Up’. For unit performance, Hip-Hop team was the first to go. S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon burned the stage with their strong aura during ‘Un Haeng Il Chi’ and ‘Bow Down’. The crowd was hyped and couldn’t stop cheering in awe.

Vocal team was next to fan the heat away. WooziJeonghan, Joshua, DK and Seungkwan charmed fans with ‘Habit’ and ‘Pinwheel’. Their raw vocals and perfect harmonies completely succeeded in embracing the hearts of every CARAT. The crowd sang along in serenity while waving their lovely CARATBONG(s).

Finally, it was time for Performance team to show their worth with their fiery performances. With different colourful outfits that looked in tune with the stage concept, Hoshi, Jun, THE8 and Dino presented ‘Swimming Fool’ and ‘Jam Jam’ to fans.

The full squad came back on stage with pastel coloured suits for ‘Thinking About You’ and continued with ‘Hello’ with diamond headbands. While the rest were backstage, Joshua and Vernon greeted fans and performed ‘Rocket’ in full English, nailing the song and hyping up the audience even more!

The concert continued with crowd favourite ‘Pretty U’, a memorable song that gave them their first music show win ever. It followed through with ‘Shining Diamond’, ‘Adore U’, their latest hit ‘Oh My!’, and the song worthy of a standing ovation, ‘Clap’ with fans not even missing a beat for the fan-chants.

Continuous Teasing
Fans were getting anxious as they could feel the end nearing and the first encore song by the boys was ‘Campfire’ with another promise they will return again in the future.

SEVENTEEN then continued with ‘Healing’, and ‘Very Nice’  and the show spectacularly ended with confetti shots as they walked around the stage and waved their goodbyes to fans. The boys took their final bow after a three hour non-stop live show and even if it takes another year for them to come back, Indonesian CARATs will always be more than ready to welcome the boys! The Seoul Story would like to say a big thank you to Mecima Production for the media invitation. 😀
