As a senior in the entertainment industry with almost 2 decades of experience, Lee Dong Wook has proven his acting chops through various projects over the years. He made his debut with an MBC drama ‘Best Theater’ in 1999 and aside from acting, Lee Dong Wook is also versatile as he tackles variety programs, showcasing his bubbly and lovable personality on screen. Recognised by his popular character Kang Ji Wook in the romantic melodrama ‘Scent Of A Woman’, Lee Dong Wook touched the hearts of netizens as he took on a role of falling in love with a woman diagnosed with cancer that had only 6 months left to live. His portrayal of the role led the actor to win two awards, which were ‘Top Ten Stars Award’ and ‘Best Excellence Award’ at the SBS Drama Awards in 2011.

His rocketing popularity did not stop there, as he recently received widespread love from the drama ‘Goblin’ alongside actor Gong Yoo. With an interesting plot and cinematography, the unique love story between ‘Grim Reaper’ (Lee Dong Wook) and  ‘Sunny’ (Yoo In Na) in the drama sparked a lot of interest from not only Korean but international audience of the drama as well!

Following the news of Kang Ho Dong and Lee Seung Gi’s departure from ‘Strong Heart’, Lee Dong Wook managed to prove his skills as an emcee through the well known talk show together with Shin Dong Yeop in 2011. Netizens were initially skeptical about the change but Lee Dong Wook once again demonstrated his worth and eventually went beyond the expectations of netizens with his hosting skills!

Besides proving his strong presence as an emcee, he took on more variety shows with the most recent one being ‘Roommate’. Fans were able to witness more of his casual daily life routines and his silly side with comedian Jo Se Ho who was his roommate on the show. They even recorded their own version of Frozen’s ‘Love is an Open Door’ which brought massive laughter from the viewers! Check out the video below:
